Just as Alice Turner predicted, the speeding car was indeed Easton Hols’. Seeing him get out of the car and rush into the yard, she quickly rolled down the window and shouted to him, "Lily and I are here."
As she shouted, she pushed open the car door and got out.
Upon hearing Alice Turner’s shout, Easton Hols imdiately stopped in his tracks, turned around, and looked toward the source of the voice behind him.
The mont he turned around, he spotted Lily Turner sitting in the car. Without a mont’s hesitation, he strode over to her.
"Why are you here?"
Looking at the man who suddenly appeared in front of her, Lily Turner was left with surprise and confusion.
Easton Hols did not respond to her question. He silently reached out, pulled open the car door, and bent down to pull her out of the car.
Seeing her standing well in front of him, his heart, which had been on edge before coming, finally relaxed.
"I’ve co to take you ho for dinner."
He held her hand tightly, as if letting go would make her suddenly disappear.
"How did you..."
Lily Turner’s words were interrupted as she quickly realized, turning to look at Alice Turner standing beside them, "Sis! Did you call him and tell him I was here?"
When she left ho earlier, she only ntioned going for a walk and hadn’t told anyone at ho where she was going. The only person who knew she would co here was her sister.
It was the first ti Alice Turner saw Easton Hols in his military uniform, thinking he looked so majestic, she was montarily dazed.
It wasn’t until she heard Lily Turner speaking to her that she snapped back to reality, coughed twice to ease her inner awkwardness, and finally looked up at Lily Turner.
"It wasn’t your sister who called ; I called your sister," Easton Hols spoke up before Alice Turner could say anything, keeping his head down as he looked at her.
Upon hearing this, Lily Turner shifted her gaze from Alice back to Easton, "You called my sister? How could that be? I didn’t say I was coming here, are you the Prophet?"
Her questions grew even more nurous, and she looked up at him, hoping he would give her a clear answer.
This girl! Why are there so many weird things in her head?
Easton Hols raised his other hand and pinched Lily Turner’s cheek, "Yeah! You guessed it right, I am the Prophet."
The Prophet! How did this girl even think of that?
"Pfft!"
Just as Easton Hols finished speaking, Alice Turner burst out laughing, and seeing the two of them looking at her, she quickly covered her mouth with her hand.
If there were a hole in the ground right now, she would dive into it in a heartbeat, too embarrassed.
"Easton Hols! Could you act normal for once?"
Lily Turner rolled her eyes at the man. She tried to swat away the hand pinching her cheek and wanted to shake off the hand gripping her own, but the more she struggled, the tighter he held her.
Getting rolled eyes from her, Easton Hols didn’t feel the slightest displeasure. He curled his nice lips, "Nope! I can’t do that in front of you."
She’s so amusing, he always gets entertained by her. Ever since being with her, he felt his life filled with joy everywhere.
"Oh no! Lily! Mom’s coming out, you two better go."
Alice Turner suddenly saw Sophia Wood coming out of the house and couldn’t worry about interrupting their sweet interaction, urgently reminding them.
