Even if he didn’t know that his mother had caused a scene at the Turner Family ho, Easton Hols would not leave Lily Turner alone in such a situation, let alone now that he was aware of what had happened. There was no way he would leave on his own.
"It’s my first ti eting my mother-in-law today; it wouldn’t be right not to go in and sit for a while." With that said, he pulled her along as they went inside, completely ignoring her struggle.
"Can we co another day?"
As they were about to catch up with Sophia Wood and Alice Turner in front, Lily Turner beca both anxious and worried, her face flushing with urgency.
Easton Hols turned his head and replied with two words, "No way!"
Although his voice was low, his tone was particularly firm.
"How can you be so stubborn!"
The man’s attitude seed especially resolute. Lily Turner tried to shake free from his grip but couldn’t break free. Realizing there was no escaping today, she glanced at the obstinate man with dissatisfaction and helplessness.
Easton Hols looked at the woman who called him stubborn and silently curled his lips. Holding her hand, he followed Alice Turner and Sophia Wood into the house.
"Who are you?"
As soon as they entered the house, Sophia Wood turned around and looked at Easton Hols and Lily Turner. Upon turning, she fixed her gaze on Easton Hols.
Tall and imposing, with a bronze complexion and distinct, deep features, like a Greek sculpture, his dark and profound eyes appeared wild and uninhibited, charmingly enigmatic.
This man was even more captivating to won than his father had been in his younger days. Such a man has the capital to be unfaithful.
Easton Hols could tell that Sophia Wood seed very dissatisfied with him, but he still politely replied, "Lily’s lawful husband, Easton Hols!"
Not only did he state his na, but he also identified his status.
"My daughter’s lawful husband? When did my daughter get married? How co I, her mother, know nothing about it?" Sophia Wood looked at Easton Hols with displeasure, her gaze shifting to Lily Turner standing next to him, "Are you so casual? Bring any man you et on the street ho and call him your husband?"
She wore a stern expression, her eyes glaring angrily at Lily Turner.
"Mom!"
Alice Turner secretly tugged on Sophia Wood’s sleeve, using her actions to remind her to speak properly.
Feeling a sudden tug on her sleeve, Sophia Wood instinctively looked down, following the hand to its owner. "Don’t get involved in today’s matters. Go tend to your own business."
She didn’t want anyone interfering in today’s issues.
"Sis! You should leave. I can handle this." Before Alice Turner could speak again, Lily Turner quickly interrupted her.
Alice Turner looked at Sophia Wood and then at Lily Turner. She was reluctant to leave, but the mother and daughter seed unyielding unless she did.
"Alright! I won’t interfere with your conversation." Alice Turner gave Lily Turner a worried glance and strode out of the house.
Upon leaving, she did not go far but got into her car. Once inside, she took out her phone from her bag without delay and dialed Auntie Hua’s number.
"Hello, Miss!"
After a few rings, Auntie Hua answered the call in a subdued voice.
"I’m in the car outside the gate. If anything happens, call imdiately."
Despite Easton Hols accompanying Lily Turner, Alice Turner still felt uneasy. In dealing with the situation between the two won, she had more experience than this newcor.
