Alice Turner’s unusual behavior instantly caught Easton Hols’s attention. If he guessed correctly, there must be paparazzi outside.
"Sis! Why are you locking the door? Are paparazzi chasing you?" At the sound of movent at the door, Lily Turner imdiately turned over to look and saw that it was indeed her sister, Alice Turner, who had returned.
But why was her sister so panicked about locking the door? Could it be that the paparazzi discovered sothing?
Alice glanced at Easton Hols, then turned her head to Lily, "No, I’m just worried there might be paparazzi."
She wasn’t telling the truth. Earlier, when she had seen Grant Heath out, she noticed two people by the ward acting suspiciously abnormal.
Due to his professional sensitivity, Grant Heath imdiately recognized those two people as journalists and quietly warned Alice Turner, who followed him out, that there were reporters behind, advising her to stay away from him.
Upon hearing Grant Heath’s warning, she didn’t follow him further. She glanced at him as he walked towards the elevator, then spun around and entered the ergency exit.
She didn’t return directly to the ward but circled up and down a few tis. It was only after confirming she had shaken off the reporters tailing her that she hurried back to the ward to report.
Alice Turner’s explanation seed like a clumsy denial attempting to cover up the truth to Lily. With Grant Heath’s earlier appearance, she knew there would be paparazzi following, and now seeing her sister’s strange actions, her worries turned into reality.
"If there are, then there are. What’s there to worry about? It’s not like I’ve never been followed by paparazzi." By now, she had co to terms with it. Her marriage and pregnancy were not shaful secrets worth concealing.
As soon as Lily Turner finished speaking, Easton Hols and Alice Turner imdiately showed surprised expressions, as if they suddenly didn’t recognize her and stared at her without blinking.
"Why are you two looking at like that? Don’t you recognize ? Or is there sothing weird on my face?" Lily was well aware of why they were looking at her like that, but she still played along with her words and raised her hand to touch her cheek.
Easton Hols removed her hand from her cheek, holding it together with his large hand, "There’s nothing strange on your face."
The more he worried about sothing, the more it seed to happen; however, her performance and condition were far better than he had anticipated.
"Then why are you still looking at like that?"
It was one hand before, now it’s two; what exactly did this guy intend to do? Was he planning to tie her up?
Lily struggled to pull her hands back, and to her great surprise, she succeeded effortlessly in regaining her hands this ti.
Once her hands were free again, she imdiately felt much better, and her face naturally broke into a smile.
Seeing this, Easton couldn’t help but tease, "Because watching you makes you happy, doesn’t it?"
After speaking, he imdiately stood up, distancing himself from where she sat on the bed.
"Please stay here with her; I have sothing to attend to outside." Before Lily could respond, Easton Hols had already turned to look at Alice Turner, standing aside, gave her the ssage, and without waiting for any response from her, walked briskly toward the door.
Watching the man walk toward the door, Lily Turner couldn’t bother to care about his earlier teasing and called out, "Easton Hols! Don’t go out."
There must be paparazzi outside, and once he goes out, he will be exposed to the public.
Although he is well-known, no one knows his real appearance, and she figured he must have his reasons for not appearing in public.
