Lily Turner’s worries were too obvious. Over the phone, Alice Turner could clearly feel them. She knew in her heart what Lily was worried about, and those concerns were also her own.
"You don’t need to worry about Mom and Dad going to the hospital. I told them what’s online is all nonsense. You just stay at ho," Alice quickly said to reassure Lily on the other end of the line.
"Do you think Mom will believe what you say?"
Whether Christopher would believe Alice or not, Lily couldn’t say for sure, but she had so clarity about how Sophia might think.
Her mom was no pushover. How could her mom easily pass up such a good opportunity?
Upon hearing Lily ask this, Alice’s heart skipped a beat, "Mom should believe what I said, right?"
She had been confident about this earlier, but now she suddenly felt unsure.
"If this issue weren’t related to , Mom would definitely believe you," Lily said easily, but her heart was heavy. It’s such a sad thing when your own mother doesn’t trust you.
Just as Alice was almost ho, she received a call from Christopher. On the phone, Christopher asked her to talk to Lily and see when it would be convenient for her to bring Easton Hols ho for a visit.
After finishing the call with her father, Alice hesitated for a long ti before finally deciding to call Lily. She couldn’t make decisions about this matter on her own.
But what she didn’t expect was that before she could ntion the crucial matter, she ran into this sudden situation.
"Lily! I won’t bring you lunch today. I’m rushing ho to have a look," at this mont, Alice felt that stopping Sophia was more important than having lunch or dealing with what Christopher asked.
Before Lily could respond, she quickly added, "I’ll hang up now, wait for my good news."
After saying this hurriedly, she decisively hung up the phone, not giving the person on the other end a chance to speak.
After hanging up on Lily, Alice imdiately dialed the house number and started the car only after the call connected.
"Hello, who’s this?"
Alice called the landline at ho, and after it rang a few tis, Aunt Hua picked up the phone.
"It’s ! Is my mom ho?"
She anxiously got straight to the point as soon as she spoke.
Alice’s anxious inquiry made Aunt Hua sense sothing was wrong. She didn’t dare delay and imdiately replied, "Madam just went out driving."
"Did my mom say where she was going when she left?"
Though Alice already had an answer in her heart, as she asked, she turned her car around.
Aunt Hua shook her head, "No."
"How long has it been since my mom left?"
Driving towards the exit of the community, Alice asked.
"About four or five minutes ago."
"Got it. Bye!"
After hanging up, Alice stepped on the gas and sped off to intercept Sophia.
If she judged correctly, her mom was definitely going to find her sister. She had to block her mom on the way, absolutely not allowing her to cause trouble at the hospital.
Her sister was a public figure. Even though Easton had dealt with those reporters, the hospital was still bustling with people coming and going.
If soone took a video with their phone and uploaded it online, those reporters would have plenty to talk about.
Alice chose the road from Turner Family ho that was closest to the hospital. She headed towards the Turners’ direction to intercept Sophia on her way to the hospital.
