Alice Turner didn’t have much to say to Thomas Fisher, she was solely focused on drinking. Her alcohol tolerance was terribly low, and after three drinks, she was already feeling dizzy.
Yet she showed no intention of stopping, continuing to drink one glass after another as if she was drinking water and not alcohol.
Seeing Alice like this, Thomas Fisher frowned, got up, and sat closer to her. He reached out and snatched the glass from her hand, "If you drink all the wine by yourself, what am I supposed to drink?"
As he spoke, he placed the wine he took from her back on the table.
The alcohol wasn’t very strong, but even so, she shouldn’t drink like this. She didn’t seem like soone who enjoyed drinking.
"We could just order another bottle, I’ll pay for it."
Alice said, turning her head to call the waiter, but before she could raise her hand, Thomas Fisher stopped her, "With us both having one bottle each, are we not planning to go ho later on?"
She had already drunk quite a bit, and she seed to be a little tipsy. If he drank more, how would the two drunken fools get ho?
"I don’t want to go ho! I don’t want to go ho!"
Alice leaned forward to grab the glass that Thomas had placed back on the table, but just as she was about to reach it, he grabbed her. She turned her head to look at him, her drunk face full of displeasure, "Why are you stopping ? I already said I’ll pay for the booze."
She struggled to shake off the hand that was holding her, but the more she struggled, the tighter his grip beca.
Seeing Alice behaving so unusually, Thomas Fisher thought she must have encountered sothing that upset her, but he couldn’t find the right ti to ask her, so he could only stop her from drinking more.
"Are you not going to work in the afternoon drinking like this?"
He didn’t know that she had taken a day off, so he could only use work as an excuse to stop her from drinking.
"I took a day off, so what’s work got to do with it!"
Alice used her other hand to tug at the hand holding her wrist. After a few tugs without success, she could only smack it twice, "You little punk! Let go of , I want to drink!"
As she spoke, she smacked his hand twice more.
"Little punk?!"
Did she actually call him a little punk?
Thomas Fisher was sowhat annoyed by Alice’s choice of words, and a look of displeasure crossed his usually sunny face, "No way!"
With that, he gripped her arm even tighter.
"If you don’t let go, I’ll be really rude to you."
Thomas didn’t take Alice’s warning seriously at all and still held onto her wrist tightly.
She glanced down at his hand gripping hers and raised her foot to kick him.
"Ouch!"
Because Alice’s kick was so fast, and because Thomas didn’t take her words seriously, his leg bore the full brunt of her kick.
As a Taekwondo black belt, she was no amateur with her legs and feet, and his leg hurt like hell from her kick.
Seeing Thomas Fisher’s pained expression, Alice Turner was dumbfounded, "Are you... are you okay?"
Before the words were out of her mouth, she was bending down to roll up his pant leg and check the injury.
Thomas reached out to stop her and at the sa ti pulled her upright, "What are your feet made of? How are they so strong?"
He thought she was just trying to scare him, but to his surprise, she really didn’t hold back, and her kick was so powerful.
Saying powerful was putting it politely; her kick just now could be described as brutal.
