Bang bang bang!
Alice Turner hadn’t had ti to close the bathroom door when the knocking sound reached her ears, and her beautiful eyebrows furrowed instantly.
What does this man want? Is he crazy?
She turned around, walked out of the bathroom, walked up to the large bed, bent down, and picked up the phone on the bedside table. She dialed the hotel front desk.
"Hello..."
"I’m the guest in room 8026, there’s a maniac banging on my door, please send soone to take him away."
The waiter only managed to get out a "hello" before Alice Turner interrupted, indignantly finishing her complaint, and without waiting to hear the other person’s response, she slamd the phone down.
After hanging up, Alice didn’t imdiately return to the bathroom but instead walked towards the door. As she was about to reach the door, the phone suddenly rang.
She instinctively changed direction, walked towards where the phone was placed.
As she expected, the call was from Benjamin Shaw. She just glanced at it without any intention of answering.
Alice didn’t pick up the phone nor hung it up. She placed the phone back and continued walking towards the door.
Soon, soone would co to ’escort’ him away. She wasn’t going to waste her breath on an argunt with him now; it wasn’t necessary.
anwhile, standing outside the door, Benjamin Shaw was still calling Alice, unaware that she had called the hotel’s front desk.
It wasn’t until two hotel security guards appeared in front of him that he realized she had called the hotel, and from their casual conversation, he learned she had said he was a madman.
Despite being really angry, Benjamin went downstairs with the two security guards and imdiately left the hotel after stepping out.
Darned girl! I’ll settle the score with you tomorrow!
A gentleman can be killed but not humiliated!
Benjamin Shaw was a man who valued face, but today he’d been mistaken as a madman by others, a humiliation he’d never experienced in his life.
Bang!
With nowhere to vent his anger, he raised his foot and kicked his car.
As soon as he kicked it, the car alarm sounded imdiately. Benjamin quickly took out his car keys and unlocked the car.
Before the security guards ca over, he swiftly opened the car door, got in, and started the engine, driving away at speed.
Watching the luxury car speeding away, the two security guards stood bewildered in the cold wind.
How does that man look like a madman? He seed perfectly normal, and he was driving a luxury car.
Driving away, Benjamin Shaw felt frustrated, thinking today was particularly embarrassing for him. He raised his hand and slapped the steering wheel hard.
What happened today, he definitely had to settle with Alice Turner; not doing so would be letting down his pounding heart.
In contrast to Benjamin’s frustration and embarrassnt, Alice Turner felt especially refreshed, currently humming a cheerful tune while soaking in the bathtub.
Although she hadn’t seen what was happening outside, since he was ’escorted’ away as a madman, he must be extrely, extrely angry.
