"Lily!"
After waiting for a long ti without seeing Lily Turner co out to answer the phone, Easton Hols couldn’t help but feel a little worried. After saying a quick word to Christopher Turner, he got up and walked out of the living room to find her.
Who knew that when he ca out looking for her, he would see this scene? The words she had just spoken coincidentally reached his ears.
Upon hearing Easton Hols’ voice, Lily Turner and Sophia Wood, along with Auntie Hua who was standing beside them, were all stunned. By the ti the three of them reacted, he had already walked over.
"What are you holding in your hand?"
As he approached, Easton Hols imdiately saw that Lily Turner was holding sothing. Before she could react, he snatched the dicine from her hand.
Mifepristone!
The mont he picked it up, Easton Hols saw the four big characters on the dicine box. It was his first ti encountering this dicine, so he didn’t know what it was.
After glancing at the instructions on the outside of the box, he ca to the conclusion that the dicine in his hand was what people commonly referred to as the abortion pill.
Such a conclusion instantly darkened his face.
"Why are you doing this?"
At this mont, Easton Hols showed no expression on his face. He looked down at Sophia Wood, who was standing in front of Lily Turner, knowing without a doubt that she was the one who gave the dicine to Lily Turner.
With such a firm judgnt, he no longer called her ’Mom’ as before, not even bothering with any respectful title.
Initially, Sophia Wood had planned to put the dicine into Lily Turner’s food after Christopher Turner and Easton Hols left for work the next day.
However, she didn’t expect Lily Turner to happen upon Auntie Hua buying the dicine, nor did she expect Easton Hols to co over so suddenly at this mont.
Despite her surprise, she didn’t waver in the slightest. Her gaze shifted to Easton Hols, who was questioning her, "Because I don’t want this child to suffer."
She spoke with such confidence, showing no sign of guilt.
"Do you think I’m like you? I would never let my child suffer." Lily Turner spoke up before Easton Hols could, and because of her resentnt, she sounded very agitated.
Upon seeing this, Easton Hols wrapped one arm around her, "Exactly! We know how to care for our child just fine, so there’s no need for your concern."
After saying this, he placed the dicine with a slap on the nearby cabinet.
"What kind of attitude do you two have?"
Having her plan thwarted already frustrated Sophia Wood, and now being treated this way by the two of them, her anger suddenly flared up.
At this mont, Christopher Turner walked over, having heard the commotion. Before arriving, his questioning words were already thrown over, "What kind of attitude is that?"
Just monts after Easton Hols left the living room, Christopher heard the noise outside. Not knowing what was happening, he walked out, not expecting to see such a scene.
Christopher Turner glared angrily at the trouble-causing Sophia Wood, then turned his attention to Easton Hols, "Let’s go inside."
Unaware of the situation, he thought Sophia Wood was just causing trouble for Lily Turner, not realizing she was forcing Lily to take abortion pills.
"This ho is unlivable, we’re heading back."
This ti, Easton Hols didn’t let Lily Turner speak first. He responded imdiately.
After speaking, he took a glance at both Christopher Turner and Sophia Wood, and without any hesitation or pause, he wrapped his arm around her and walked towards the door. His expression was resolute.
