Aiden Taylor knew that Michael Linton made sense, and he could also understand Sophia Wood’s resentnt towards the Taylor Family, but he still insisted on his own thoughts, aiming to have Lily Turner recognize her ancestry as soon as possible.

Aiden Taylor reached out and patted Michael Linton’s shoulder, expressing his gratitude in that one gesture.
"Aiden! You’re too polite; there’s no need for that between us, especially since it’s what I should do in the first place." Michael Linton’s expression was earnest at this mont, and his tone was very serious. This matter was a serious one for him, and he couldn’t afford any carelessness.
Aiden Taylor just smiled and didn’t respond further. He and Michael Linton reached a unanimous decision for Lily Turner to return to the Taylor Family as soon as possible.
The two chatted for a while longer before getting up and leaving the restaurant, each driving back ho.

After driving ho, Michael Linton saw Easton Hols strolling in the yard. He knew his nephew was waiting for him, but as he got out of the car, he pretended not to know and teased Easton with a joke.
Easton Hols wasn’t in the mood for jokes. Seeing Michael Linton coming over, he straightforwardly said, "Uncle, be honest with , was tonight’s dinner with Lily a setup for Lily to et Uncle Aiden?"
He had wanted to ask during dinner, but Lily Turner was present then; he knew his uncle wouldn’t have answered truthfully.
"...You figured it out?"
Michael Linton thought he had hidden it well, but to his surprise, Easton Hols had seen through it. He couldn’t pinpoint where he slipped up.
"I sensed it during dinner."
Easton Hols’s answer took Michael by surprise again, but before he could voice his doubts, he heard Easton continue, "Why does Uncle Aiden want to see Lily? I want the truth!"
His expression turned serious, his dark eyes fixed intently on the person in front of him, waiting for an honest and clear answer.
Michael Linton stared at Easton Hols for a long ti before he slowly spoke, "Do you still rember your Uncle Daxton?"
He didn’t directly answer his nephew’s question but instead asked another one.
"Of course, I rember. But what does this have to do with Uncle Daxton?" Upon hearing Michael Linton’s words, Easton Hols imdiately asked, and as soon as he asked, he suddenly realized sothing. With an emotional outburst, he grabbed Michael Linton’s arm, "Lily isn’t Daxton’s child, is she?"
