Easton Hols couldn’t comprehend why Sophia Wood was opposing the marriage because of the Taylor family’s connection. Although the Taylor family and the Linton family are long-ti friends, they are still two separate families, aren’t they?
"Then what are the other reasons for her opposition?"
From Michael Linton’s words just now, Easton Hols deduced that Sophia’s opposition wasn’t solely due to that reason; there were other reasons as well.
Michael Linton shook his head truthfully, "I don’t know, I really don’t know."
She left quietly at noon, not giving him a chance to continue discussing the matter.
"Then it must be because of those two."
The "those two" Easton ntioned referred to his parents, Fabian Hols and Alia Linton. He had plenty of reasons and justification for it.
His parents caused a scene when they showed up that day. It’s no wonder her mom was upset, but her behavior last night was too extre—forcing her to take an abortion pill.
The child in her womb was theirs, yet it was also her mother’s grandchild. Her mom could be so ruthless.
He couldn’t understand it and even more, couldn’t accept it. From the bottom of his heart, he couldn’t accept such a thing.
Michael Linton glanced at Easton Hols and imdiately understood what he was talking about. "I will find an opportunity to talk with them, you..."
"You don’t need to find them; I will talk to them myself." Easton Hols cut him off before Michael Linton finished speaking. His expression had turned quite unpleasant, and his tone wasn’t much better either.
Seeing this situation, Michael Linton sighed, "Though what they did wasn’t appropriate, they are still your parents. Don’t hold grudges against them."
They were supposed to be a close family, but now it felt like they were class enemies. As an uncle and a brother-in-law, he felt quite uncomfortable about it.
"It’s not that I want to hold grudges against them, but their interference goes too far." Rembering what Fabian Hols and Alia Linton did, Easton Hols looked indignant. They ignored matters they should handle and ddled in what they shouldn’t.
They had turned his life into a ss, so he was definitely going to talk to them properly. Otherwise, they wouldn’t realize that he had grown up and was no longer the little kid they could push around.
Seeing Easton Hols suddenly beco very agitated and angry, Michael Linton knew it was entirely because of his sister and brother-in-law. To avoid further provoking the already angry Easton Hols, he changed the subject, "I just noticed that Lily didn’t eat much. Is it really okay for her to eat so little?"
Diverting the topic to Lily Turner indeed worked. As soon as he finished speaking, he noticed that his nephew’s expression improved.
"She’s already eating a lot now."
Since becoming pregnant, Lily Turner had been eating much more than before. However, to those unaware, it still seed like she wasn’t eating much at all.
Easton Hols, being in the know, understood how much she used to eat and how much she ate now. Her current appetite made him feel relieved.
He almost no longer needed to supervise her als; she was eating willingly without being forced by anyone.
Michael Linton didn’t know any of this. Hearing Easton Hols’s words, he furrowed his brows in puzzlent. Just as he was about to ask about his doubts, he suddenly saw Lily Turner standing on the second-floor balcony.
