Fabian Hols’s recent behavior suddenly changed Michael Linton’s mind, making him feel that his brother-in-law is truly too selfish, caring only for himself.
From the affair over twenty years ago to now the divorce, his brother-in-law has always only considered his own feelings.
He could barely tolerate how he treated his sister, but ignoring his nephew was sothing he simply couldn’t stand.
"That’s right! On the 8th of next month, Easton and Lily are having their wedding." Michael Linton glanced at Fabian Hols and deliberately added, "I ca here tonight to discuss this with you."
He felt the gaze from beside him but pretended not to notice.
Alia Linton hadn’t cald down from the previous events, and now she was even more agitated, "They’re having a wedding on the 8th of next month? Who agreed to their marriage?"
She hadn’t co over recently just because she didn’t want to break up this family, but last night she fully realized that man’s heartlessness.
Whether this family falls apart or not, she doesn’t care at all now. This family has been nothing more than a pretense for a long ti, and she’s been deceiving herself all along.
"Dad and I both agreed."
Michael Linton spoke firmly without a hint of hesitation.
To this, Alia Linton blurted out, "What use do the two of you agreeing have? I’m his mother, and I don’t agree with him marrying that slut."
Anyone associated with that bitch of a woman is no good.
"Sis! Your words are too harsh."
Michael Linton couldn’t accept Alia Linton speaking like that, as it was about the woman her son wanted to marry, yet she, as the mother-in-law, could say such things.
No wonder their father was so angry when she went over to the other family’s house to cause trouble. Her behavior made him very angry too, as it lacked even an ounce of decorum.
A deep knot had ford in Alia Linton’s heart, making her believe anyone associated with Ivy Shaw wasn’t good, especially won whom she deed as seductresses out to bewitch n.
"That slutty gir..."
"Sis!"
Michael Linton called out to Alia Linton heavily. At this mont, his face showed deep dissatisfaction, flas of anger burning fiercely in his heart, "Lily is Easton’s rightful wife. How do you think Easton would feel if he knew you were talking about Lily like this?"
Even he was angry hearing this, let alone his nephew.
"Let him feel however he wants; I just don’t agree with him marrying that slut," Alia Linton retorted more strongly, having upgraded her insult from ’slutty girl’ to ’slut.’"
The mont those words left her mouth, Michael Linton’s anger flared up as he sternly said, "You two really are a match made in heaven, both so selfish, only concerned with your own feelings and never considering the lives of others."
"Not caring about the feelings of Dad and is one thing, but Easton is your biological son. You rcilessly abandoned him when he was young, and now that he’s grown and wants to get married, you still carry on like this."
"Having parents like you, my heart truly aches for Easton."
Michael Linton spoke at length, with his words closely linked together, leaving Alia Linton and Fabian Hols without a chance to interject.
"We never abandoned Easton."
Alia Linton never considered herself to have abandoned Easton Hols; for years, she believed it was just foster care, not like it was soone else’s household; it was her father’s after all.
