Due to Michael Linton’s sudden change of mind, the divorce between Fabian Hols and Alia Linton was postponed, as Michael delivered a blunt admonishnt that made them start reflecting.

Reflecting on their actions over the years, and more on their attitude towards Easton Hols and Lily Turner’s marriage.

While Fabian Hols and Alia Linton were reflecting at ho, Sophia Wood was also caught in conflict and hesitation.

Aiden Taylor and Michael Linton, on the other hand, were making preparations for Lily Turner’s ancestral recognition, with each handling tasks within their capabilities.

Aiden Taylor, as Lily Turner’s uncle, approached Christopher Turner, while Michael Linton took Lily and Aiden Taylor’s hair to the DNA testing center for a blood relation test.

All of this was unbeknownst to Lily Turner, but she did make a small discovery—she found out that Easton Hols and Michael Linton were discussing sothing. She didn’t know what exactly, but she knew they didn’t want her to know.

As soon as she joined them, they stopped discussing and started chatting idly with her.

"What have you and Uncle been plotting these past two days?"

While going for a walk after dinner, Lily Turner couldn’t hold it in anymore and blurted out to Easton Hols.

Easton Hols feigned ignorance: "I wasn’t plotting anything with Uncle. Why would you ask that?"

He looked down at her with a normal expression, speaking in the usual tone he had.

"You seriously don’t know why I’m asking, Easton! Do you think I’m stupid?" Lily slapped Easton Hols on the arm, complaining while doing so, "Annoying! I won’t tell you anything anymore."

Unaware of anything, she assud the nephew and uncle were plotting about the wedding, not thinking of anything else.

Easton Hols pulled the woman ready to walk ahead on her own, wrapped an arm around her, "My wife isn’t stupid. If she were, there wouldn’t be any smart won left in the world."

From her recent actions and words, he could tell she wasn’t really angry, so he pinched her nose with a charming smile.

"Who praises their wife like that?"

Lily suddenly laughed, patting Easton Hols, "But I like it."

Knowing he was joking, she couldn’t help but feel happy when he said that.

"Since you like it, I’ll praise you more often."

Seeing her smile like a blooming flower, Easton Hols felt incredibly good, his face instantly lighting up with an undeniable smile.

Evelyn Taylor, as she approached, saw the smiles on their faces from afar, finding them glaringly bright.

"Grinning like that, aren’t you worried people will think you’re fools?" Her harsh, cutting words reached them before she did.

"That only ans one thing, she’s blind."

Lily Turner imdiately returned Evelyn Taylor’s sarcasm before Easton Hols could speak, referring to Evelyn as "she."

Since the other party wasn’t polite, she felt no need to be polite either.

This woman never showed politeness towards her and was surely here to pick a fight again tonight; she’d never believe it was a coincidence.

Initially, Evelyn Taylor didn’t respond, but when she realized what was said, her face changed instantly, pointing at Lily Turner in anger, "You unwanted wild girl, do you think it’s your turn to speak here?"
