In the past few days, Michael Linton and Easton Hols have indeed been discussing how to talk to Lily Turner about this matter. However, they hadn’t co up with a solid solution when suddenly this situation erupted tonight.
"Don’t be so agitated just yet. Let’s go ho first, and I’ll explain it to you slowly once we’re back." This matter isn’t sothing that can be explained clearly in a short while, especially since she seed quite emotionally unstable at the mont.
He needed to calm her down first, and only after that could he slowly explain everything to her.
Lily Turner had been puzzled about her identity for many years. Now that she finally had so news, she didn’t want to wait any longer.
"Tell here. I want to know imdiately if what she said is true." She grabbed his arm, stopping him from pulling her back ho.
"I was going to say..."
"Shut up!"
When Evelyn Taylor opened her mouth to speak, Easton Hols sharply cut her off, glaring at her furiously. Only then did he turn his eyes back to Lily Turner, and in that instant, his gaze softened significantly, "Listen! We’ll talk at ho, and I promise I’ll make everything clear then."
He coaxed the woman beside him like one would persuade a child, trying to lure her into going back ho with him.
"Ah!"
Having been both slapped and scolded today, Evelyn Taylor scread in anger at Easton Hols before turning and running away crying.
The sudden scream not only startled Easton Hols and Lily Turner but also the passersby, who turned to look at the fleeing figure.
The two of them just glanced at the person running away and then, in unison, started heading ho.
"Why did you both co back so quickly?"
Seeing the two who had just gone out for a walk return so soon, Michael Linton, who was digesting food in the yard, was quite puzzled.
He glanced at Easton Hols and then at Lily Turner, both of whom looked quite unusual, sparking a sudden worry in his heart.
Easton Hols was the first to speak: "Ergency!"
With those two words easily addressing his uncle, he pulled her along and headed into the house.
As Easton Hols walked past, he turned and gave Michael Linton a look, and Michael imdiately knew he was lying and that they returned so quickly because sothing was up, sothing serious.
Not knowing what had happened, Michael Linton instinctively wanted to follow them in, but after taking just one step, he suddenly stopped.
This was a matter between the young couple, and it wasn’t appropriate for him as an elder to intrude, especially since his nephew was quite capable of handling any tricky problem.
Once Easton Hols and Lily Turner entered the house, they didn’t stop for a mont, heading directly and swiftly to their room on the second floor.
"Alright, you can tell now."
As soon as they walked into the room, without even having the chance to sit down, Lily Turner eagerly tugged on Easton Hols’s sleeve and asked.
Seeing this, he sighed internally and didn’t insist that she sit down first. He allowed her to tug on his sleeve, standing where he was as he started to speak to her. "Alright! I’ll tell you now, but you have to promise you won’t get upset."
Before speaking, he felt compelled to caution her.
"I promise I won’t get upset, just hurry up and tell ."
Lily Turner was anxious to learn about her identity and couldn’t be bothered with much else. She shook Easton Hols by the sleeve, urging him to tell her quickly.
