After saying goodbye to Christopher and Sophia, Easton Hols and Lily Turner left the Turner Family ho. This ti was completely different from the last; last ti they left in anger and resentnt, but this ti they left with smiles and joy.
"Honey! Can I borrow your phone?"
As soon as the car exited the neighborhood, Lily reached into Easton’s pocket to get the phone. This wasn’t borrowing—it was outright taking.
The person whose phone was taken didn’t resist at all, letting her take the phone from his pocket without even glancing at it.
Once Lily had the phone, she didn’t hesitate to use it as if it were her own.
She wanted to share the happy events of today with her sister.
Over the years, she had gotten used to this—whether she was happy or sad, the first person she thought of sharing it with was her sister.
"Hello!"
After a few rings, Alice Turner answered the phone. Not knowing if it was Lily on the other end, she didn’t dare to call out her na rashly.
"Sis! It’s . What are you doing now? Am I disturbing you?" Lily couldn’t control her excitent, and her tone was unconsciously cheerful.
Hearing Lily’s voice, Alice glanced at the ti on her computer; it was already eleven at night. She frowned slightly, "Why are you still awake this late?"
Her sister never stayed up late, and now that she was pregnant, she had developed an even stronger habit of going to bed early.
"I miss you, I can’t sleep."
Just after saying that, Lily noticed the man driving glanced over at her. She was startled and blurted out, "Focus on driving!"
Her sudden loud voice traveled over the phone, startling the person on the other end.
"Sweetie! Can we not be so jumpy? What’s going on over there?" Hearing Lily’s exclamation, Alice knew she was outside with Easton without even having to ask.
Although she wasn’t sure what was happening, from her sister’s voice, she could tell Lily was extrely happy and a bit excited.
Hearing this, Lily giggled, "Hehe! Did I scare you? I’ll watch out next ti."
As she spoke, she glanced at the man driving, her eyes seed to say: this is all your fault, who told you to not pay attention to the road and look around?
Easton seed to feel Lily’s gaze on him, instinctively turning to look, but all he caught was her back and nothing else.
Right after silently resenting Easton, Lily turned with the phone towards the car window, syncing perfectly with his timing.
"If there’s a next ti, you just wait and see."
After making a joke with Lily, Alice straightened her expression and asked, "Why are you out so late? Where did you and Easton go to have fun?"
Over the phone, Alice could deeply sense Lily’s happiness, and without knowing what exactly happened, she assud they went sowhere fun. She couldn’t think of any other possibilities.
"Easton and I just visited our ho."
Lily said it nonchalantly, turning the fact that they just went ho into a playful outing. Both the man driving and the person on the phone were surprised by her words.
