Her sche being exposed, Lily Turner felt both angry and sad. She sighed at Easton Hols, "Sigh! Forget it! Do whatever you want. After all, I’ve ended up like this."
Her heart was truly aching, so much that she wanted to cry.
Thinking about how Easton Hols didn’t care about her, Lily’s nose tingled, her eyes burned, and tears burst forth.
"Why are you crying out of the blue? Don’t cry. I was just teasing you." Seeing Lily suddenly start crying, Easton panicked and quickly wiped the tears from her face. "I know you want to propose. I’ve already planned it, but..."
"You’ve already planned it?! Then why didn’t I know?" Hearing Easton say that he had already planned the proposal, Lily imdiately stopped crying and looked at him incredulously.
Seeing her like this, Easton sighed deeply, "I wanted to surprise you, but now it’s not a surprise anymore since you already know."
He had planned to propose to her tonight, but seeing her so upset just now, he couldn’t help but let it slip.
"I can pretend I don’t know."
Lily’s face brightened up, and the dark clouds in her heart began to disperse. A smile erged in her teary eyes.
Seeing her switch from crying to laughing, Easton chuckled, "You! I really can’t do anything about you."
He looked at her with a face full of affection.
"Can you let go of my hand now?"
As Lily spoke, she moved her arm, and to her surprise, Easton imdiately released her arm.
Her arms regained their freedom, and it felt so good. She shook them and moved them around.
After stretching a bit, she raised her hand and pinched his cheeks on both sides, pretending to be angry with a stern face, "Easton Hols! If you bully like this again, I...mmm..."
Easton suddenly leaned over and kissed Lily, swallowing all the words she had left unsaid.
The unpleasantness that had just occurred vanished in the mont they embraced and kissed.
After a long, passionate kiss, the two of them finally pulled away.
"Shall we go ho now?"
Considering what had just happened, Easton decided to take Lily back to the compound. He felt more at ease there compared to outside. There were other matters he needed to attend to, and he couldn’t be by her side all the ti for now.
At these words, Lily blurted out, "Which ho?"
She wasn’t sure which ho he intended to take her to—her mother’s place or the house at the Military District Compound?
"Of course, to our own ho."
Easton wasn’t referring to Callix Linton’s place, but rather their own ho. He thought they could bring her mom and sister over as well, so she wouldn’t be bored, and it wouldn’t interrupt their family bonding ti.
Lily shook her head, "I want to go to my mom’s."
It was quite an effort to get out of the house, and she didn’t want to just go back like that. Besides, she needed to have a heart-to-heart with her mom and sister.
"If you want to be with your mom, we can bring her along, and your sister too. They can all co over." Easton expressed what was on his mind, otherwise, she certainly wouldn’t agree to go back to the compound with him.
At the mont, Lily was still holding Easton’s neck with both hands and didn’t let go because of his words, "Is that okay?"
