Hearing the child say that Christopher Turner wanted the two sisters to go down, Alice Turner and Lily Turner exchanged a glance, both showing varying degrees of worry on their faces.
"You go down first, just say we’ll be down in a mont." Alice Turner said directly to the child who ca to deliver the ssage, then turned to look again at Lily Turner beside her, "What’s Dad calling us down for?"
She had just sneaked upstairs, how did her dad know she had co up to find her sister? Did he see her just now?
If he only called her down, it must be to greet the guests, but calling both sisters down together, she couldn’t help but suspect sothing was fishy.
Lily Turner shared the sa suspicion and worry as Alice Turner, suspecting that Christopher Turner calling the two sisters down had sothing to do with the Thompson Family couple.
This doesn’t add up!
What does the Thompson Family couple have to do with her sister? She currently doesn’t have anything to do with them either.
"I don’t know either, but I think it’s probably related to Henry Thompson’s parents." This was just her guess, and she dared not draw any conclusion about whether this was the case.

After the two sisters agreed, they went downstairs shoulder to shoulder to face and confront the unknown situation.
The adults were sitting in the living room chatting, while the children were chasing and playing outside the living room.
Lily Turner and Alice Turner stood in a corner near the living room, poking their heads in to check the situation. They looked for a long ti but didn’t see anything unusual.
Charles Thompson and Amber Wood didn’t cause any trouble; they were chatting with Christopher Turner, Sophia Wood, and so other guests, and Amber Wood even had a cheerful smile on her face.
Had they misunderstood? Weren’t these two here to cause trouble?
Alice Turner furrowed her brows in confusion, her heart full of doubt. She had clearly noticed that Charles Thompson’s expression wasn’t quite right earlier, but after going upstairs for a spin, it turned into this situation.
What earth-shattering event had occurred during the ti she went upstairs? Why did the Thompson Family couple’s attitude change so drastically?
Especially Mrs. Thompson, her smile was so exaggerated.
"Those two seem quite normal to too."
Lily Turner didn’t find anything unusual and tilted her head to look at Alice Turner standing next to her.
