William Turner blurted out a sentence that made everyone present laugh, but Lily Turner and Alice Turner quickly stifled their laughter, simultaneously giving him a vexed glance.
"Brother-in-law! You’re just like your second brother-in-law, both are money grubbers." Thomas Fisher watched the commotion gleefully and teased.
"Do you have a problem?"
Easton Hols threw a cool glance at Thomas Fisher, then shifted his gaze to William Turner, "Brother-in-law! Don’t mind that guy, there’s nothing wrong with being a money grubber. It shows we’re good n in the Gower Family. Wives will like it."
When he said the last sentence, he instinctively looked at his own wife.
This annoying man, her younger brother is still immature, yet he says such things to him.
Lily Turner glared at Easton Hols, wanting to say sothing to him, but because of the people standing nearby, she forcibly swallowed her words.
Thomas Fisher noticed Lily Turner’s small gesture of glaring at Easton Hols and, eager for drama, stirred up trouble again. "Brother-in-law! Do you have a wife yet?"
His eyes were fixed on William Turner, but his peripheral vision was on Easton Hols standing to the side.
"Thomas Fisher! What nonsense are you spouting?"
Alice Turner hurriedly walked up to Thomas Fisher and pinched his arm. She was intent on stopping him from speaking nonsense, completely forgetting that Benjamin Shaw was still standing nearby.
Seeing this scene, Benjamin Shaw’s face darkened. What was this woman doing? Not content with flirting with random n outside, she’s now teasing his good friend.
Thomas Fisher, with a sharp eye, noticed Benjamin Shaw’s displeasure and quickly said, "Third sister-in-law! Nowadays, kids mature early. Having a little girlfriend is normal."
He really didn’t want to call her third sister-in-law, but to protect her reputation, he had to raise his voice and call her third sister-in-law, reminding her to be mindful of the occasion.
His third brother, not just the third brother, probably the other two brothers were having wild thoughts too. He couldn’t let them notice anything.
Even though sothing was going on between him and her, now wasn’t the ti for them to know. It wouldn’t be good for her; everything would be talked about once she divorces the third brother.

Thomas Fisher’s deliberate reminder snapped Alice Turner back to her senses, but she didn’t leave Thomas Fisher’s side and had no intention of restraint.
"Stay away from my brother from now on. I don’t want you to corrupt him." She pointed at him, openly expressing her dissatisfaction.
That man mistakenly thought she had cuckolded him, why should she care if he misunderstands her more?

His misunderstanding was good; she wouldn’t have to waste words explaining herself to him anymore.
To expedite her divorce from Benjamin Shaw, Alice Turner completely disregarded her image, even sacrificing her honor.
Thomas Fisher noticed Alice Turner’s intentional behavior, but didn’t grasp her true thoughts. Seeing her behave like this, he thought she was deliberately angering Benjamin Shaw.
Why was she deliberately angering the third brother? Could it be she liked him?
With this suspicion, Thomas Fisher suddenly beca unhappy, though he didn’t show it outwardly, keeping his unhappiness confined to his heart.
"Just finding a girlfriend, how can that be corrupting? Which man wouldn’t find a wife? Unless he’s bent." He confidently retorted.
