Thomas Fisher kept casting sidelong glances at Alice Turner, so all her reactions were clearly observed by him.

Thomas Fisher didn’t dare to hastily draw a conclusion. Although he suspected that Alice Turner was indeed jealous, he couldn’t be absolutely certain.

As she spoke, she instinctively glanced at the car parked behind hers.
"I think older brother Thomas is pretty great, much better than my brother-in-law," William Turner continued, seeing that Alice Turner wasn’t interrupting him. "Older brother Thomas is so warm to , unlike my brother-in-law, who seems indifferent every ti I try to talk to him."
He was sharing his personal encounters with his sister, without any ulterior motives, as he was completely unaware of the events between older brother Thomas and his sister.
Initially, when hearing William Turner speak highly of Thomas Fisher, Alice Turner thought he might have detected sothing, causing her heart to skip a beat. His subsequent words, however, gradually reassured her.
Just as Alice Turner was uncertain about how to respond to William Turner, she suddenly heard the sound of an engine starting at the front, seizing the mont to turn her gaze forward.
Seeing the car in front already moving forward, she decided not to linger, promptly starting her engine and swiftly following suit.
The journey from the elder’s residence to the military district’s hall was a re ten-minute drive, and they quickly arrived at their destination.

He could tell she was quite nervous, and he wasn’t joking with her; he rely wanted to help shift her focus.
