In order to give Alia Linton and Easton Hols more face-to-face ti, Lily Turner stayed in the bathroom for a long ti before coming out. Who would have thought that as soon as she stepped out, she saw him standing at the door.
"You..."
She opened her mouth to say sothing, but after uttering the word "you," she didn’t know what to say next.
"I thought you had fallen into the toilet and was about to go in and fish you out." Easton Hols reached out and pulled the tongue-tied Lily Turner. He was genuinely worried after not seeing her co out for so long, but he couldn’t just barge into the won’s bathroom to find her.
"You’re annoying!"
Lily Turner raised her hand to slap the man who was joking with her. As she did, she subtly looked around, finding no sign of Alia Linton in the vicinity.
What did his mother just say to him? Does it have anything to do with her? Her performance today should have been alright, right? She shouldn’t have embarrassed his family, right?
Probably not, otherwise his mother would have already pointed at her and scolded her. She’s not one to show rcy.
"Honey! We’ve just held the wedding and you’re already disliking ." Easton Hols didn’t miss Lily Turner’s little movent of turning her head to search. He knew she was giving them so extra ti to talk.
Her thoughts were all written on her face; how could he not see it? To stop her from overthinking, he began to joke with her.
Hearing Easton Hols’ voice again, Lily Turner quickly gathered her thoughts and tilted her head to look at him. By now, a radiant smile had already appeared on her face.
"My husband is so handso, I wouldn’t dislike him." As she spoke, she even reached out to touch his face, in a kind of cheeky caress.
"Say it again!"
Easton Hols suddenly stopped in his tracks, turned to pull Lily Turner into his arms, and looked down at her without blinking.
The man’s gaze beca more and more intense, and warning bells went off in her head. "Honey! Let’s not linger here, the guests are still waiting for us to return."
She placed her hand against his chest to prevent him from launching a surprise attack on her. This wasn’t just any place, she couldn’t let him be reckless.
She wasn’t afraid of embarrassing herself but worried about the soldiers seeing them, making him subject to gossip later. As a military leader, he should always maintain his image.
"Then say what you just said again."
Easton Hols very much wanted to lower his head and kiss her, but Lily Turner’s words gradually brought his rationality back. He took a deep breath to calm his inner turmoil, but he didn’t let go of her.
"Honey! Let’s not linger here, the guests are still waiting for us to return." Lily Turner knew that wasn’t the sentence Easton Hols wanted to hear, but she pretended to be clueless.
She was deliberately reminding him that now wasn’t the ti to indulge in idle thoughts; there were still many guests waiting in the dining hall. They couldn’t just play around by themselves.
Easton Hols sighed helplessly, "Say it ten tis when we get ho later."
After saying that, he released her from his arms and led her towards the dining hall.
Say it ten tis?!
He, he, he’s sothing else!
Lily Turner shook her head helplessly, thankful that he only asked her to say it ten tis and not a hundred, or her mouth would really suffer.
She’s grateful now, but in two hours, she wouldn’t feel the sa.
