Seeing his drink knocked over onto the table by Benjamin Shaw, Thomas Fisher’s face suddenly turned grim. He raised his hand and pushed Benjamin, "Why did you take my stuff?"
With anger in his eyes, he glared at Benjamin Shaw beside him, his face turning extrely unpleasant.
The sudden questioning startled the elders chatting at the neighboring table, and they all turned around to look over here.
"Has young Thomas had too much to drink?"
Callix Linton was not deaf nor blind. He had heard clearly just now and now saw very clearly. He looked directly at the commotion-causing Thomas Fisher.
Easton Hols tilted his head and replied to his grandfather, "A bit, but he’s okay."
What’s wrong with this brat today? What kind of crazy spell is this?
The four brothers often drank together, they knew each other’s drinking capacity well, and they were aware of each other’s drinking habits.
When the four drank together, rarely did anyone get drunk because they knew their limits and stopped automatically, and no one pressured others to continue drinking.
Occasionally, they did get drunk, but none of them ever made a scene, nor did they quarrel among themselves.
Thomas Fisher’s behavior at lunch today was quite unusual, and the other three brothers felt his anomaly, but they didn’t know exactly what was wrong with him.
"Grandpa! I’ll take Thomas back first, you stay a bit longer with Uncle and Aunt and everyone," Ryan Taylor spoke to Callix Linton while standing up from his seat. After getting up, he reached out to help the unstable Thomas Fisher.
Seeing this, Benjamin Shaw also hurriedly stood up, together with Ryan Taylor, pulled Thomas Fisher from his seat, "We’ll take him back together."
Benjamin Shaw planned to go with Ryan Taylor to take Thomas Fisher ho, but Thomas Fisher pushed him away, "I don’t need you to take ; move aside."
He glared at his third brother and leaned towards his second brother.
"Both of you have been drinking; how can you drive back?" Lily Turner reminded them as she saw Ryan Taylor supporting Thomas Fisher out.
This was indeed a problem!
Upon Lily Turner’s reminder, Ryan Taylor suddenly realized he had also drunk, though not much; he still had alcohol and couldn’t break the law.
"Luke Crowe should be back soon after dropping off the makeup artist. If you don’t mind waiting a bit longer," Easton Hols said, having sent Luke Crowe to take Hazel Jackson ho, realizing other companions drank more or less, including himself, he couldn’t have his wife drive them.
Ryan Taylor looked at these people, aside from Lily Turner and William Turner, thinking others drank, while they consisted of a pregnant woman and a young teenager, he dared not expect those two.
"I didn’t drink; let drive you back."
Alice Turner suddenly stood up. During the wedding banquet earlier, she hadn’t touched a drop of alcohol, mostly because she didn’t like drinking, and also she rembered needing to drive back.
She also worried her parents drank, needing to drive them herself, so she used drinks as a substitution for the couple’s wedding blessings.
Ryan Taylor automatically glanced at Benjamin Shaw who was staring at the glass on the table, showing no intention to speak. Ryan hesitated but eventually nodded, "Thank you."
Though the other person was a good brother’s wife, it was only their second eting today, still feeling quite unfamiliar.
