Alice Turner never intended to use Thomas Fisher’s card from the start, so she didn’t need to know the passwords of the cards in his wallet. All she wanted was to arrange things for him quickly and leave early.
Thomas Fisher was unaware of this, thinking Alice Turner must be so expert, capable of deciphering the passwords to his cards. He didn’t call out to her again, letting her stride towards the front desk.
The woman he fancies is truly extraordinary, able to crack even the passwords of credit cards.
Alice Turner quickly completed the check-in, walking over with the room card. She handed the wallet and the room card to Thomas Fisher, "Make sure you hold onto the room card, don’t lose it."
As drunk as he is, he probably won’t lose it.
"What? You’re not going to take upstairs?"
Thomas Fisher, while asking, had already reached out to hold onto Alice Turner, fearing she would leave as soon as he let go. She explained things so thoroughly, clearly intending to leave him behind.
He was unwilling, deeply unwilling.
Alice Turner handed the wallet and room card to Thomas Fisher and indeed did not plan to escort him upstairs; she only intended to send him as far as the elevator door.
"Mm!" She didn’t lie and nodded honestly.
"How can you be so heartless? My foot is still injured." Finding out Alice Turner truly ant to abandon him, Thomas tightened his grip on her hand, his mouth still adamantly arguing, "You can’t be so heartless to ; we’re at least well acquainted."
So well acquainted that they could embrace intimately. He stared at her, watching her expression change.
"Alright, I’ll take you upstairs."
Such kindness she has!
Seeing Thomas Fisher look at her with such a pitiful expression, Alice Turner softened imdiately, no longer insisting on her stance. She supported him, leading him toward the elevator.
Upon hearing her words, joy blossod in Thomas Fisher’s heart, though he maintained his previous pitiful deanor. "I knew you wouldn’t leave alone."
As she supported him while they walked, he felt much happier. His steps unconsciously beca lighter, and his pitiful expression vanished, replaced by a pleased smile.
Unfortunately, Alice Turner only focused on getting Thomas Fisher upstairs quickly so she could leave early.
She didn’t notice anything wrong with Thomas Fisher’s walking, nor did she realize he was grinning slyly. She supported him into the elevator.
Through the whole journey, Alice Turner kept supporting Thomas Fisher until they reached the room door, where she intended to release her hold. But as she struggled to pull back, she found it wasn’t so easy.
"We’ve reached the room door. You can let go of now." She struggled a few tis fruitlessly before turning her head to speak to the man clinging to her.
"You should at least help inside. What if I accidentally fall while opening the door? You should..."
"Enough of that, pass the room card!"
Before Thomas Fisher could finish his sentence, Alice Turner impatiently interrupted him, reaching with her free hand to take the room card from him.
Without further ado, she used the room card to open the door. After opening it, she didn’t imdiately turn to leave but instead stood aside and gestured, "Young Master Dalton! Please enter!"
She thought he would let go of her now, but wishful thinking does not easily beco reality.
"Escort inside."
Thomas Fisher assud a patron’s stance, waiting for Alice Turner to help him inside.
