Even though Easton Hols didn't answer that call, Lily Turner could sense that his emotions had changed slightly. Taking advantage of his montary distraction, she broke free from his hand and slipped to the side.
Lily Turner had just moved to the side and hadn't even co to a standstill when the phone in her hand rang again. She subconsciously picked it up and glanced at it—it was the sa number as before.
Earlier, when he didn't answer, she assud it was a stranger. But now that the number was calling again, she began to doubt her previous suspicion.
"It's still the sa number."
Risking the chance of being caught by the man again, Lily, holding the phone, walked over to Easton Hols. Before reaching him, she extended the hand holding the phone, "Your phone call."
Looking at the phone Lily Turner was handing over, Easton Hols frowned slightly and after a mont of hesitation, he reached out and took the phone from her hand. However, he didn't answer; he chose to decline the call.
"You..."
Seeing Easton Hols hang up the call instead of answering it and putting the phone into his pocket, Lily Turner was very confused and puzzled. She opened her mouth to ask why he didn't answer, but just after uttering the word "you," she realized her question was a bit unnecessary.
She hesitated to speak, and he looked up at her, lightly parting his lips, "I will handle the matter you ntioned to earlier."
"Hmm? Oh!"
At first, Lily Turner didn't understand what Easton Hols was referring to, but then she quickly realized he was talking about the issue with the paynt.
"Thank you!"
Hearing him say he would take care of it, she sincerely thanked him.
Easton Hols glanced at Lily Turner without verbally responding, and silently turned to gaze at the boundless sea.
As if pre-arranged, both of them didn't speak again, quietly standing facing the sea, like two statues by the shore, appearing beautiful and harmonious.
"Hah..."
The sudden sound of a yawn disrupted the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.
Upon hearing Lily Turner's yawn, Easton Hols withdrew his gaze from the distant sea and slowly turned to the person beside him, "Tired? I'll take you back."
"Aren't you... hah... aren't you tired?"
As Lily Turner spoke, she couldn't help but yawn again. After a whole day of filming, she was truly exhausted.
Staying up late was routine for Easton Hols. Although he also felt sleepy, he wasn't yawning incessantly like Lily Turner.
"I'm alright!"
He checked the ti on his phone and walked with her toward the car parked on the coast.
Perhaps she was truly too tired, as Lily Turner fell asleep against the car seat shortly after getting in.
Easton Hols gradually reduced the car's speed and drove forward at a steady pace. What normally would have taken just over half an hour took him a full hour and a half to reach.
Lily Turner was sleeping soundly at that mont, entirely unaware of the car stopping. She continued to rest comfortably against the seat.
Easton Hols turned to call the sleeping Lily Turner, but as he was about to nudge her, he hesitated.
He watched her for a mont, then leaned over and gently reclined the seat she was leaning on, and draped his own jacket over her.
Once he had taken care of these things, he settled back into his seat, lowered his seat's backrest, and closed his slightly weary eyes.
