Lily Turner was very displeased with what Easton Hols had said. A daughter having a thick skin isn’t good, yet he wanted her to have a thicker skin. She was a girl too, okay?
It turned out her daughter’s status in his heart was indeed different. She reached out and touched her own belly, wondering whether she was carrying a boy or a girl.
Originally, she hadn’t been overly concerned about whether she was having a boy or a girl, but seeing his favoritism towards their daughter, she hoped she was having a boy, not because she favored boys, but just to irk him.
Easton Hols rely turned around and gave Lily Turner a smile without saying anything. Seeing her glare at him, his grin got even wider, and he happily headed toward the bathroom.

Watching his retreating back as he walked into the bathroom, Lily Turner ground her teeth in frustration.
Buzz buzz buzz!
Right then, the phone in her hand suddenly rang. Lily quickly retracted her gaze from the direction of the bathroom and instinctively focused on the phone in her hand.
All she saw was a string of numbers, with no identifying mark.
Thinking that soone was looking for Easton Hols, Lily understood the situation’s importance and held up the phone, yelling towards the bathroom, "Honey! Soone’s calling you."
Currently, she was completely unclothed and wanted to get out of bed to give him the phone, but she couldn’t bring herself to have his level of thick-skinned indifference.
"Whose call is it?"
Easton Hols was just about to take a shower when he heard Lily’s shout. He hurriedly ca out of the bathroom, striding towards her and asking.
Lily Turner was used to Easton Hols being shaless. Watching him co over completely naked, she didn’t feel awkward or embarrassed, "I don’t know, there’s no na."
When he reached her, she handed him the phone.
Easton took the phone and glanced at it. Just as he predicted, it was a call from his father, but he didn’t answer it imdiately. Instead, he bent down to retrieve his clothes from the nightstand.
Seeing this, Lily felt a little restless, "Who was calling? Are you going out again?"
He wasn’t even taking a shower anymore. If he was getting dressed, he must be going out, but he hadn’t even answered the phone. Who was calling from this number with no na?
She looked at him puzzled, her heart filled with so anxiety, suspecting that this call was related to that post.
"Depends on the situation."
Easton only replied with three words. As he spoke, he didn’t linger, quickly getting dressed, the phone in his hand buzzing continuously without any impact on him.
With things as they were, Lily felt this call was even more unusual, further connecting it to the matter of the post.
"Depends on the situation?" She looked at him with growing confusion, hoping he’d clarify things for her.
"Yeah! I’ll take the call outside."
By this ti, Easton had already finished dressing. After responding to Lily, he left the room with the still-ringing phone.
Watching the man leave in a hurry, Lily couldn’t stay in bed any longer. She sat up, quickly grabbing and putting on her clothes, then got out of bed and followed him out of the room.
When she chased out of the room, the corridor was already empty of his figure. She looked around, thinking he most likely went downstairs, and quickly headed down without any hesitation.
