"Why are you treating this way?"
Alice Turner tilted her head to look out of the car window, trying her best not to look at Thomas Fisher who was sitting next to her. She was feeling more and more defenseless, as just now, she actually responded to his kiss, and indeed, she thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thomas Fisher turned his body to face her, sitting in the passenger seat, and reached out to pull her closer as she tried to dodge him. Without blinking, he stared at her with a firm expression, "Because I’ve fallen in love with you!"
That night at the bar, although he did not clearly see what she looked like, he had already developed a feeling for her in his heart, and he knew perfectly well what that feeling was.
Until later when he t her again, although he did not recognize her as the woman from that night, she gave him a very special sense of familiarity.
It was precisely because of this special sense of familiarity that he began to intentionally get close to her, and secretly went to that bar to look for clues.
Luckily, he went at the right ti; the surveillance footage from that night in the bar hadn’t been deleted yet, and he saw her figure in the footage.
At that mont, he was absolutely sure the woman from that night was her, and his excited mood was beyond words.
"You can’t love !"
Thomas Fisher’s declaration of love was very firm, and Alice Turner’s rejection was equally steadfast, without the slightest hesitation or reluctance.
Hearing this, Thomas Fisher’s expression suddenly darkened, "Why?"
He knew perfectly well the reason, yet he still voiced the question.
"Because I’m your good brother’s wife." Alice Turner knew Thomas Fisher was asking the obvious, but she still answered him.
"Then do you love ?"
As soon as Thomas Fisher finished speaking, Alice Turner froze. She expected him to ask this, but she didn’t know how to respond at that mont.
He’s so handso and knows how to charm girls; if she didn’t like him, it would just be too pretentious.
Seeing her staring blankly at him without speaking for a long ti, he blurted out, "If you don’t say anything, I’ll take it as a yes."
Although he said so, he had no confidence at all in his heart. He didn’t know whether she had feelings for him; this was completely unlike him, having no sense of confidence in front of her.
"There’s no possibility between us two. Don’t waste any more ti on ." Alice Turner pulled back her hand held by Thomas Fisher and turned her gaze outside the car, "For today, just trouble you to give a ride again."
She stared straight at the front windshield, not daring to turn her head to look at him. His gaze was too intense, and she chose to avoid it as much as possible.
Thomas Fisher reached out and clasped Alice Turner’s shoulder, pulling her, facing the front windshield, around to face him, forcing her to et him directly, "Alice Turner! I know you like too, so please don’t reject my love anymore. We will face those difficulties together."
She only said there was no possibility between them, not directly telling him she doesn’t like him. He had the reasons and evidence to believe she also liked him.
"I admit I like you too, but..."
"There’s no ’but,’ as long as you like , that’s enough."
Alice Turner didn’t pretentiously deny her affection for Thomas Fisher, but she couldn’t be with him. He knew what she was going to say afterward, so the mont she was about to continue, he interrupted her.
Thomas Fisher leaned in and kissed her, pulling her into his embrace, "I know what you’re worried about, but don’t concern yourself with those; none of them are actual problems. I’ll face them together with you."
