Alice Turner’s little thoughts were all written on her face, and Thomas Fisher could see it clearly at a glance. Yet, he played along with her joke, pretending to be angry with a stern face, "Take back what you just said to imdiately."
She actually said he didn’t want to see her. Heaven knows how much he wanted to see her.
"I! Will! Not!"
Alice shook her head firmly, as if she was deliberately trying to annoy Thomas in the call. She only responded with three words, and even said them one by one.
Seeing her bobbing head, Thomas found it both funny and infuriating, but he restrained himself from laughing out loud. He tried hard to keep his face straight, "Alice Turner! I’m angry at you, quickly take back what you just said."
He was holding back really hard to prevent himself from breaking character.
"Now I’m mad at you too."
Alice turned her phone screen away while she was silently laughing behind the phone, which didn’t look like she was angry at all.
With Alice suddenly out of the picture, Thomas beca anxious at once, disregarding his pretend anger, he shouted into the phone, "Alice! Co out quickly, I want to see you face to face."
He knew she wasn’t really angry. If she was, she would have turned off the video a long ti ago. He knew she was just teasing him for fun.
"Oh? You’re not calling Alice Turner using my full na anymore?" Alice didn’t imdiately turn the phone back around, but instead accused the man on the other side of the phone.
Turns out this was what she was upset about. Once Thomas realized what she was pretending to be mad about, he quickly apologized, "My bad, I won’t call you by your full na ever again. Would you like to supervise in the future?"
Even though he knew she was pretending, he earnestly apologized to her.
"You’re so annoying! I was just joking with you, why did you take it seriously?" Hearing Thomas seriously apologizing to her, Alice couldn’t hide it anymore. She imdiately turned the phone back around to face him.
Seeing her again, his face instantly brightened, "I’m always serious about you."
He looked at her seriously and smiled sincerely at her.
"Got it."
Across the screen, Alice could sense Thomas’s sincerity, and seeing him so earnest, she also responded very seriously with those three words.
Hearing this, Thomas suddenly grinned, "Good girl!"
At this mont, his smile beca much more relaxed, no longer as rigid as before.
"Seeing how good I am, can you sing a song as a reward?" Seeing Thomas grin at her, the thought suddenly flashed through Alice’s mind. He danced so well, he must sing beautifully too, she was full of anticipation for him.
"Alright, but before I sing for you, you have to give a kiss." Thomas seized the opportunity to ask Alice for a little benefit for himself. Singing was certainly no problem, especially for her, he would gladly do so a hundred tis, but if he could get a little benefit from her, he would sing even more happily.
Alice wasn’t coy, she sent a big, loud kiss to the man in the phone without hesitation, "Muah!"
She self-dubbed the sound just to satisfy him.
"Muah!"
Thomas also gave a big, loud kiss back to Alice in the phone. After the kiss, his grin grew wider, and his smile beca even more radiant.
