’Oh?’ Almond was surprised at the rankings. The previous round’s first rank actually ranked 6th this round.
The previous round’s second-ranked person ranked first, and then four Regalons in a row before the previous round’s first rank.
Kexell missed a bit and missed a link or it could be five Regalons in a row.
Almond smiled as he imagined the reaction of Kexell. Knowing him, only him ranking one below and not connecting to others was going to frustrate him.

[ As for this round’s rewards, everyone will experience ti dilation according to their ranks in Round 2, with the Rank 1 being able to experience a total of 30 hours of this dinsion within 30 minutes. So everyone’s 30 minutes will be different, except for the 100th-ranked examinee and the rest. ]

Although Almond knew there were surely people out there with monstrous talents and potential, he had given it all, and getting second place instead of first did frustrate him a bit.
He wanted first!
He wanted everything and everyone out there to be under him, so that he could live his life world freely without worrying about anything.
What he wanted was that ultimate position, and he wasn’t about to gain it by achieving second ranks.
Everyone was at the sa stage here! Sa stats! Sa position!
’I have to be better.’
He looked around. He had thirty minutes to explore this, and he wanted to gain sothing within that ti fra.
Now, Almond wasn’t alone in this sentint.
The other Regalons and other participants also began roaming, trying to get sothing in this ever-shifting dinsion to click with them and empower them.
The best result would be an addition of True Concept.
One additional True Concept an a whole lot of new arsenal of powers.
Or, another way to power up was acquiring a Rune of Power.
A Rune of Power was basically a mastered phenonon. The endga of acquiring the Rune of Power of their elental masteries.
There weren’t any steps to that.
It was just like they had nothing, and then when they managed to gain insight and progress and obtain the core truth of their elent, they would get the Rune of Power branded into their soul.
Although everyone was taking this test from Grimverse since they broke through to Tier-2 position, the ti spent as a Grim Resident or other Tier-1 position differed.
Almond and others barely spent three months before breaking through.
But so of the participants had spent years.
So of the participants had deliberately delayed becoming more powerful and gathering more potential by working hard.
So so of them indeed already have a Rune of Power.
Everyone had at least one True Concept, but so of them had two True Concepts, which was rarer.
Moreover, Almond and others had yet to use one of the most basic features of Grimverse.
Grim Arcade is a function that would unlock when a Grim Resident killed another Grim Resident or another Tier-1 position.
Granted, the Regalons didn’t need to enter there because of the Event, but from Grim Student and onward, it was an absolute requirent to enter there to progress properly while staying in the academy, especially if one couldn’t enter a high-ranking academy.
But so of the examinees had already entered there before breaking through and worked hard to acquire resources to make themselves strong.
The only area where Regalons lacked was acquiring a Rune of Power.
But this ever-shifting dinsion, which had a chaotic mixture of the structure of a variety of elents mixed in with non-elental power and creating phenonon was a rather good way to acquir insight.
Almond had an understanding of Space and Voiderran, as well as Lighting, Light, Sand, and Wind.
But Grimverse was way more complicated than that. There was no single elent here. There was no single truth here that dictated laws.
In this Grimverse, the truth was one that was acknowledged by Grimverse through one’s effort and understanding.
At the mont, Almond, Lily, Rudra, Big D, and Kexell were in the top ten purely because of them already having True Concept, with Almond, Lily, Rudra, and Big D having two True Concepts instead of one since the other four origin beings birthed from the creation of that Grimworld-rooted Tier-6 cosmoverse that was destroyed bound themselves with those four.
This was the main reason they were ahead of Julian and Viktor.
Though Kexell, despite having one True Concept, was rather strong as well as he kept his position, but the difference in the top five and those after that was also rather big.
But everyone was exerting their focus to the extre while roaming during these 30 minutes of break, which was an hour for so. This dinsion, constructed by Grimverse, was a reward for everyone, but it was up to individuals on how much they could get out of it.
’A core truth...A truth of my own.’
Almond released Astral Aurelith, his Exotic Elent.
He could use this here, but its potency was way lower.
To make it powerful, to make it have more impact in his skills and on this world, he had to make it acknowledged by Grimverse and acquire the Power of Rune.
Voiderran belonged to Levi.
Almond, Lily, and Admiral Rudra had gained a 100% basic understanding of Voiderran, entirely provided to them through the Rune that Levi had given to Almond.
But they could never make it their own.
Aside from the basic use of Voiderran, each of them uses it in vastly different ways to make it suit their combat style and combat arsenal.
So if they wanted to derive a Rune of Power from Voiderran’s base, they had to bend it and make it their own through gaining their unique understanding and having it acknowledged by Grimverse.
But thirty minutes had passed for everyone as the reward ti was over.
None of them acquired a Power of Rune.
