The domain of the Ga of Chaotic Ascension continued expanding like a living tide across the bottom-tier plane.

The translucent boundary crawled across mountains, deserts, forests, and ruined cities. Wherever it passed, the air thickened slightly, and faint sigils flickered before every being inside.

The ga had already begun.

And it was turning the plane into a slaughter ground.

...

A ruined slave city burned beneath a blood-red sky.

Dozens of newly freed slaves stood in a broken plaza, eyes fixed on the screens hovering before them. So trembled. So grinned. So had already drawn weapons.

One man moved first.

He lunged at the nearest person, a rusted spear punching through the target’s throat. Blood sprayed across the cracked stone.

[You have gained 1 point]

The man froze.

Then smiled.

He spun and stabbed again. Another fell. Then another. Panic erupted. People ran. Others fought back. Blades flashed, bodies dropped, screams echoed.

Within minutes, only three remained.

The man with the spear breathed heavily, covered in blood.

[You have gained 11 points]

"Buy card," he muttered.

Pain shot through his palm. A card materialized.

[Grimblade: Serrated Wind Cutter]

Combat Power: 210k

Effect: Generates rotating wind blades that expand with motion.

He activated it.

A serrated disc of compressed wind ford around his arm. He swung instinctively. The disc expanded outward, slicing through the last two survivors. Their bodies separated cleanly.

He laughed.

Then his head exploded.

A woman stood behind him, holding a glowing bow. A translucent spirit arrow dissolved in her hand.

[You have gained 12 points]

She imdiately purchased a card.

[Plant Spirit: Thorn Hydra Vine]

Combat Power: 390k

Effect: Summons a multi-headed vine construct with piercing attacks.

She activated it.

Thick vines erupted from the ground, splitting into multiple serpentine heads. The heads snapped outward, impaling two approaching fighters. The bodies lifted into the air, blood dripping down the vines.

---

Elsewhere.

A canyon filled with drifting ash.

A group of six hunted a massive beast, a horned predator covered in iron scales. One fighter slamd a card into his chest.

[Exotic Fla: Corrosion Ember]

Effect: Fla dissolves armor and spreads on contact.

Green fire spread across his weapon. He struck the beast. The scales lted like wax, exposing flesh beneath.

Another fighter activated:

[Dreadling: Shadow Ripper]

A winged shadow creature burst forward, tearing into the beast’s eyes.

The creature roared.

A third activated:

[Grimblade: Gravity Splitter]

He swung downward. A compressed gravity line slamd the beast into the canyon floor.

They killed it.

Then turned on each other.

The gravity user struck first, crushing one teammate. The fla user retaliated, lting his chest. The Dreadling wielder tried to flee.

A spear pierced his back.

A lone survivor stood.

[You have gained 9 points]

He finished the wounded fla user.

[10 points reached]

He bought a card.

[Fabricated Spirit: Mirror Duelist]

Effect: Creates a copy that mirrors your attacks.

He activated it.

A translucent duplicate appeared.

Both turned.

Two nearby survivors were cut apart simultaneously.

---

Across a forest swallowed by the domain.

Plant spirits road freely. Fighters hunted them for points.

One man activated:

[Spell Card: Frost Pulse]

A freezing wave spread outward. Trees crystallized. Three fighters froze mid-motion.

Another activated:

[Weapon: Luck Blade]

He swung wildly.

The blade emitted nothing.

He swung again.

A massive golden slash erupted, splitting a giant tree and everyone behind it.

He scread in delight.

Then a hidden Dreadling tore his head off.

...

The domain continued to expand, swallowing valleys, deserts, and fractured kingdoms alike. As it spread, the chaos behind Almond and the others intensified. Battles erupted everywhere, but ahead of them, sothing different had ford.

Resistance.

The strongest kingdoms of the bottom-tier plane had gathered together.

An entire continental plateau had been cleared, flattened into a massive battlefield. Fortresses from multiple kingdoms were fused together into a layered defensive wall stretching across the horizon. Floating platforms hovered above it. Massive beasts chained to artillery engines roared. Tens of millions of fighters gathered in dense formations, their combined aura turning the sky hazy.

Energy shields layered over each other like stacked dos.

Spell arrays rotated.

Summoned monsters crawled across the ground like a living army.

They had prepared for annihilation.

And then—

They saw them.

Nine figures approaching.

No hurry.

No formation.

Just moving forward.

Behind them, the sky twisted.

Dreadlings drifted like a dark constellation. Grimblades rotated in layered halos. Exotic flas floated like miniature suns. Fabricated spirits shimred like translucent armies. Plant spirits crawled beneath the surface, bulging the terrain. Spell constructs rotated slowly behind Saffa, Clovelle, and Fraisea.

The army shifted uneasily.

"They’re just nine..."

The nine figures continued forward.

With every step, the air warped slightly.

Almond’s presence had changed the most.

Fabricated spirits no longer appeared as scattered constructs. They ford entire layered battalions. So carried massive siege weapons. Others wielded shifting blades. Several rged and split repeatedly, adapting shapes mid-motion. The more he killed earlier, the more variations he had gained. The spirits flickered through different weapon forms rapidly, as if cycling through countless options.

Lily’s Dreadlings had multiplied into a living sky. They moved like a black tide, but their shapes had evolved. So had multiple wings. So carried blade-like tails. Others emitted distortions that shredded energy constructs simply by passing through them.

Ainen’s flas floated around him in dozens of variations. So burned blue and froze the air. Others were golden and distorted gravity. A few appeared dark and consud light itself. These flas occasionally rged and split, mutating mid-flight.

The army fired first.

Thousands of beams erupted simultaneously. Cannon fire, spell barrages, summoned constructs, and monstrous breath attacks filled the sky.

Almond raised his hand.

Fabricated spirits surged forward.

They didn’t block.

They advanced.

The barrage struck them and split apart. So spirits shattered. Others absorbed energy and reford larger. A few redirected beams sideways, turning the attack back into the army’s own formations. Explosions erupted across their front lines.

Lily stepped forward.

The Dreadling swarm descended.

They didn’t rush in a single wave. They spiraled downward in layers, slicing through defensive shields. The first do cracked. The second shattered. The third flickered and collapsed.

The Dreadlings hit the army.

Rows of soldiers were carved apart instantly. Summoned beasts lost limbs. Floating platforms were shredded as wings sliced through them.

Ainen lifted his hand.

Flas spread outward.

They didn’t explode imdiately. They drifted slowly into the army. Then they activated.

Blue flas froze entire battalions solid. Golden flas crushed formations inward. Black flas devoured energy constructs. Red flas detonated seconds later, chain explosions ripping through the lines.

Commanders surged forward.

Massive figures leapt from the army, each radiating imnse power.

One slamd into Almond’s spirits, tearing several apart.

Almond’s eyes flickered.

The destroyed spirits reford behind the commander, weapons shifting mid-formation. They pierced his body from multiple directions. He exploded into fragnts.

Another commander unleashed a massive sword beam.

Lily’s Dreadlings converged. The beam shredded hundreds of them, but the swarm closed around the commander. Wings sliced repeatedly. His armor peeled apart. He fell in pieces.

A third commander charged Ainen.

Ainen’s flas rotated.

Gravity flas pinned him mid-motion. Freezing flas locked his limbs. A final dark fla passed through his chest.

He dissolved.

The army faltered.

The nine figures continued forward.

Gopu cracked his neck and leapt ahead, smashing into a formation. His impact flattened hundreds. Natalia’s floating weapons rotated and fired, explosions ripping through siege engines. Kayla’s plant spirits erupted beneath the army, massive vines impaling monsters and soldiers alike.

Saffa’s spells layered across the battlefield, distorting incoming attacks. Clovelle carved through elite fighters. Fraisea unleashed chained spell bursts that detonated in clusters.

The defensive line collapsed.

The army still held.

Millions remained.

They launched a full assault.

The sky filled with attacks.

Almond’s spirits multiplied again, absorbing and redirecting, and those spirits either wielded the Grimblades or incorporated them into their forms. Almond only controlled his two Exalted-rank Grimblades as they wreacked havoc.

Lily’s swarm thickened into darkness, and invaded right into the enemy ranks.

Ainen’s flas expanded into a field of shifting fire as he redirected the flow of attacks, nullified them, and created more flas by absorbing them.

The battlefield turned into chaos.

Entire sections of army vanished.

Commanders fell.

Beasts collapsed.

Platforms exploded.

And through all of it.

The nine figures walked forward.

Toward the center.

Toward the gathered kings.

The last remaining kings of this bottom-tier plane.
