Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 102 102: The Demonic Family Jewels
He only had two ideas on why he couldn't see the demon's health, and the most likely culprit was what Caedia had ntioned earlier.
It was immortal, so naturally, unless he destroyed all the demonic cores, it would remain alive forever.
What a troubleso enemy... Rael thought with a sigh. I wish my Primordial Sight skill could see its core, but sadly that's not the case.
"Rael." Seryn tapped on his shoulder. "It's a Wrath-type demon. It has a lot of physical power, and it grows stronger the more damage we deal to it. However, it also has pretty poor durability, so all we need to do is cut it apart and find its cores."
"What an infodump." Rael whistled. "I understand. I can probably blast its body to bits—you can deal with the rest."
Truthfully, he would prefer killing this thing, but the amount of stats he would get from sothing like a General Class monster—a level 125 at that—wouldn't exactly be worth it.
Therefore, even an assist was enough.
"Caedia, are you going to participate?" Rael asked, staring at her through the windshield. "Or do you at the very least want to warm my seat?"
She sighed, and almost as if it were a chore, she stepped out of the car and headed toward the two of them.
"I don't understand why we're even doing this. Let's just leave the demon alone—the Depths will naturally purge it," Caedia said plainly. "So what I'm basically saying is that this is a waste of ti."
Rael shrugged. "Even if it's a waste of ti, I've never actually seen a demon before. So what do you say we go fight it, and if it looks like we're about to lose, we dip?"
"I refuse," Seryn said firmly. "We at the Blue Dragon Sect take care of the demonic forces, whether it is demonic cultivators or even demons incarnate. I will not turn a blind eye to such behavior."
"That's a bit righteous, don't you think?" Rael comnted with a tilt of his head. "But sure man, I'll scrape your corpse off the ground with a spatula, I promise."
Seryn scoffed, then shot a glance at both Rael and Caedia before suddenly dashing off toward the demon.
"Mate, I think you're forgetting we don't have a plan?" Rael called out, but Seryn didn't reply and rely kept going.
Soon, he leapt into the sky and transford himself into a beam of lightning. He swiftly struck down on the demon's colossal body. However, apart from making a truck-sized hole in it, Seryn didn't do much.
In fact, that injury healed in less than a second, and as it did, the demon finally took notice of their presence.
"Well shit..." Rael sighed. "Fuck the plan I guess. Caedia, try to cut off its arms—even if temporarily—I'm going to try a little sothing."
That little sothing was, of course, his imagination.
Seryn proceeded to attack the demon's legs, and in the anti, Caedia finally arrived, jumped up, and with a swift slash, cut off the demon's arms.
But once again, they healed up instantly.
However, that was fine, as with the short amount of ti that the two had bought him, Rael swiftly attempted a new combination.
Flas and anti-heal.
It was a simple concept but with a more reinforced idea. He would send out a hot fla, and after it connected with the target, it would attempt to gnaw at its injuries—literally not going out unless the demon were to rip out its entire arm at the shoulder.
Therefore, Rael swiftly tapped his black string.
