Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 162: The Interrogation And Sending Out The Zoomba's
Chapter 162: The Interrogation And Sending Out The Zoomba’s
Damn. Rael whistled. Is it weird I find this side of her hot?
She was practically torturing a man, and yet all Rael could focus on was her determined, cold gaze.
“Talk,” Zafira said as she took out her blade and pierced the man’s shoulder. “I’m giving you one last chance. If you value your life so little, then I’ll end you here.”
Having said that, she stood up, took her blade out, and sheathed it before glancing toward Rael.
“So? How do you feel seeing like this? Unusual, right?” Zafira asked.
However, Rael simply shook his head. “On the contrary, I think I’ve fallen for you even more.”
Zafira froze. “Huh? What did you sa—”
“Fuck both of you!” the man scread in pain. “Even if you kill , the damage has already been done! You’ll be hearing from the Holy Kingdom soon enough!”
Zafira’s brow twitched, and just as she unsheathed her sword and was prepared to dig it deep into the man’s forehead, Rael stepped up.
“Wait a sec,” Rael said with a smile as he approached the man and tapped him on the head.
Imdiately, a couple dozen pop-ups appeared.
However, they were slightly different from last ti.
Pfft… I guess it is that easy, isn’t it? Rael chuckled, and then proceeded with the main part of this whole ordeal.
“H-huh?” the man’s eyes widened. “W-What are you two doing here?”
“Rael…?” Zafira trailed off, sheathing her blade. “What happened?”
“I ssed with his brain a little. He should be a bit more cooperative now,” Rael replied plainly.
Zafira didn’t seem convinced, so she tested it out.
“You. Who sent you here?”
“A duke from the Holy Kingdom… I think,” the man replied imdiately. “I don’t know his na, but my employer said it was a duke that had requested this to be done.”
Zafira’s eyes widened as she shot Rael a look of disbelief.
However, he rely grinned and gave her a thumbs-up.
But a Duke? That’s a bit more serious than I thought…
Nonetheless, Zafira continued.
“This duke… tell what kind of mission he had given you.”
The man nodded. “He ntioned you had two royal seals, and one of them was hidden in one of the throne room’s pillars.”
Zafira frowned. “How does he know that…? No, you probably won’t be able to answer… Just tell what else you’ve done. You ntioned that the damage has already been done.”
“Oh. That…” The man trailed off. “The duke has hired 10 of us to do the job. You might’ve intercepted my letters, but there are 9 more people who have likely already made it out of Celestara and are headed for the Holy Kingdom. Each of them has the sa letter I did.”
Her frown deepened as she brought her blade closer to the man’s neck, causing him to flinch.
“I-I’ve told you everything I know! I promise!”
“He’s lying,” Rael added.
And Zafira simply nodded. “I know.”
She raised her sword overhead, and just as she was about to bring it down, the man lunged at her.
His eyes portrayed fear, but at the sa ti, determination.
Zafira seed unfazed. However, before the man could even co close to her, Rael activated a certain skill.

The man’s head burst, and he soon fell to the ground, spilling blood in his wake.
Of course, before the blood could reach Zafira, he simply pulled her aside and brought her out of the prison cell.
“You’re powerful,” Zafira remarked. “A lot more powerful than you were when you first ca to Celestara… just what happened?”
Rael smiled. “I’ll show you eventually. For now, though, we need to deal with the ones running away.”
“And how are we going to do that? By the ti the royal guards get there, it’d be too late. And if we go there by ourselves, we might not get them in ti,” Zafira said with a sigh. “It’s fine, I can think of so counterasures.”
Obviously, he wasn’t going to do that.
The two walked up the stairs and stepped on the firm palace ground.
Then, under the eyes of the puzzled Zafira, Rael made a couple hundred constructs appear.

It might not have seed like it would make a difference. However, Rael had one very crucial title that made these little guys simply overpowered.
—Crystalline Inheritance: Constructs you create inherit 5% of your core stats.
Since his current Agility was 105,064, they’d receive 5,253 points worth of Agility.
But that was not all, since his Primordial Sight also gave them 104% increased stats.
This brought their Agility to a staggering 10,716.
It was much higher than what should be possible for their rank and level. However, Rael wasn’t going to question the system.
After all, aside from it scamming him from ti to ti, it was pretty damn generous.
Nonetheless, Rael cleared his throat and spoke.
“I have a task for you all. There are 9 people currently scattered around Celestara, and each of them has letters that must not reach the light of day,” Rael stated, then pointed outward. “Head out, get them by the end of the hour. Kill all who don’t comply.”
“Yes sir!” the constructs yelled in unison, and with a single step, disappeared from his sight.
Their speed really was formidable now, and even Zafira could admit that.
“Those are the sa constructs as last ti…? Wow…”
“Mhm…” Rael trailed off, scratching his cheek. “I did improve a little, I guess.”
Zafira giggled and began slowly walking back to the palace.
“Rael…” she muttered, turning around. “When you go to the barbarian lands, I’m going to co with.”
“You don’t need to,” Rael said gently. “I can handle it all on my own, promise.”
“It’s not that.” Zafira shook her head as her cheeks slightly reddened. “The barbarians have a tradition where their honored guests go on a hunt… and usually… never mind. Just know that I’m going with you.”
Even though she had cut herself off, Rael knew what she was talking about.
The barbarians assign a male and a female to complete the hunt as a show of respect. They send one male or female from their tribe, and the whole point of the hunt was to make the guest and native grow closer.
But if there was already a duo with the guest, then…
And the mont Rael clocked that, he froze, staring at Zafira’s parting back with wide eyes.
His heartbeat quickened.
Does she…?
