Chapter 219: Entering the Sunken Temple

Rael humd in satisfaction as he strode through the desert.

After all, the Duke had just agreed to cooperate.

Though I can’t help but think there was so other motive behind it. Rael sighed. At least he’s not a liar though.

He was currently heading toward the Sunken Temple, and according to Karina…

“…?” He tilted his head.

A few monts passed, and she finally replied.

Rael let out a sigh.

With that, he closed the chatroom and turned to the side, where his interface was displayed.

They’re dying very quickly… Rael thought with a slight frown, checking how many were left in total.

It was 94,766 just earlier. That ant the forces stationed in the Sunken Temple were incredibly competent, even if there weren’t that many.

I guess I could make more. I have a lot of mana, or I guess, Mana Trell Points, left.

But for the ti being, it wasn’t necessary.

After a few minutes of jogging through the desert, Rael finally saw the outline of a city in the distance.

Of course, it was none other than the giant Sunken Temple. Its size alone was enough to categorize it as a city.

He approached swiftly and saw many soldiers fighting his miniature blue constructs.

The constructs were fast, but since Rael ordered them not to kill, they had no choice but to take so damage to subdue the soldiers.

Even so, after two constructs died, the rest were able to disarm the soldier and pin him to the ground. After that, they simply knocked him out and tossed him over their shoulders.

But not before they sent a wave toward Rael.

A faint smile appeared on his face as he walked toward the city.

It seed like there was a sort of descent where he could see the ocean in the distance. And it made perfect sense, after all, this was a Sunken Temple.

Where else would it be sunken?

The sand, of course.

Half of the temple was buried under the sand, and the other half soared far into the skies.

He rembered sothing above the clouds, and those spires leading upward were elevators. However, it was never accessible to the players, so he never knew what was up there.

But maybe today I’ll find out?

The closer he got to the temple city, the farther his feet sank into the sand. That was likely why most of his constructs had died, since they recklessly charged in and got swallowed up by the sand.

But as long as you walked straight and followed the path without any distractions, you wouldn’t get swallowed. Therefore, that was exactly what Rael did.

After a few minutes, the sand began to push away, revealing the sandstone pathway.

He followed the pathway, and once he glanced back, he realized he was already under the sand. But since he was currently on the pathway, he was safe from the mini barrier that ford around it.

Despite that, he couldn’t see more than five ters ahead of himself.

It must be a pain in the ass for rchants to travel here. Though they have another way in, it’s not an option at the mont, Rael pondered.

The main and most common way into the Sunken Temple was through the pathway that he was currently taking.

But there was also the other option, which was by diving underwater and swimming toward the Sunken Temple.

There was a thin mbrane barrier blocking the water from coming through. But for the people, entry was possible.

He stopped overthinking things and simply focused on the path. After just five more minutes, the sand ahead opened up, revealing the giant underground Sunken Temple.

Imdiately, he caught a whiff of the sll of fish, herbs, and of course, tal.

It was the sa as he rembered, and the people were too.

Despite the war happening outside, no one was panicking. If anything, they were having a feast.

But that was also when Rael noticed a few people in particular.

A trio of busty elf triplets walked together. They had pretty revealing clothing, and Rael knew exactly who these three were.

Well… sort of.

All three of them looked the sa, had the sa clothes, they even had the sa posture.

As for their nas?

Sophie, Luna, Oriana.

But the reason they were so important was because they were the best of the best.

Sophia was the best blacksmith. Luna was the best tailor. And of course, Oriana was the most special of the three. She was both a master alchemist and a creator of incredible artifacts.

Safe to say, he wanted all three of these girls on his side.

But that’s for a bit later.

He glanced toward a few of his constructs, who, to his surprise, were strolling around and eating all sorts of dishes.

The mont they spotted him, they dropped whatever they were doing and saluted.

Rael nodded, then gestured for them to co closer.

The constructs glanced at one another for a few monts, and finally, one of the constructs stepped up and bowed.

“Greetings, Master. We are glad you were able to make it here without trouble.”

Rael stepped closer and patted its head.

“Give a rundown on the situation here, would you?”
