Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 259: Duke Class
Chapter 259: Duke Class
[Rael’s POV]
He had been doing a little grinding for the past week, but not too much.
After all, when the announcent ca, the land was so fucked up that he had no choice but to grind.
His money was drained heavily in order to maintain Celestara. Still, he was able to grind a few more stats, and finally…
It’s pretty shit, and it’s not like I bleed anyway. But it’s better than getting so stupid permanent barbie haircut that makes immune to headshots, Rael mused, then turned to the more important bit.
Premium Reaper Mark [Special-Unique]
—Mark a target for death. The system ensures they will fall within 7 days, by fate or force. May not cast it on a target stronger than you. Cannot be canceled. Cost: Extre.
Premium Spectator [Special-Unique]
—Watch any living being through the eyes of the system. Track their location, status, and inner thoughts for a limited ti. Certain entities may notice your gaze.
Premium Simulation [Special-Unique]
—Store the mory of a complete battle. You may fight the opponent of that particular battle whenever you wish inside a simulation. The simulation replicates the battle down to the last detail.
Rael looked through the perks for a few seconds, then let out a sigh.
Premium Reaper Mark and Premium Spectator were cool, but they seed a bit useless.
Sure, killing soone weaker than him within seven days sounded good on paper, but that was about it. If they were weaker, he could already kill them outright.
It was a nice flex, but not a total ga-changer, at least not at the mont.
Plus, the cost was extre, so for now, the perk was kind of a dud.
Premium Spectator, on the other hand, was a more deluxe version of his Synaptic Hijack, so he wasn’t that interested in it.
With nothing else left to consider, he chose the last one, Premium Simulation.
Looks like it only works on battles I fight after getting the skill, Rael thought with a sigh. I kind of wanted to fight rcurius again, but oh well.
Still, Rael humd in satisfaction, then opened his status screen.

He had also reached the cap on his movent speed, so by now, his progress was basically stalled until he either ascended or reached level 5,000.
But as it stood, his feats were likely good enough to get him a decent Ascension class, so he might as well go with that.
Anyhow, Rael stepped out of the dungeon and headed across the palace courtyard.
He saw many players running around, looking to get so kind of hidden quest from the guards.
Yet nothing happened, as the guards simply swiped their swords, killing the players without hesitation.
Normally, they wouldn’t do that, but Rael had instructed the guards not to be so rciful again with immortals.
Even if they do lose a bit of their mories when they die, they might learn from their mistakes… maybe? Rael thought as he arrived at the palace.
He walked along the halls and soon reached the throne room.
He swung the doors open and was t with a few familiar faces.
Notably, Karina, Milf_GattlingGun, and Asimov.
They stood before Zafira, chatting with her, but there was also one surprise visitor Rael wasn’t expecting to see.
—Elise_GattlingGun (Player) [Level 2] [110/110 HP]
She was a little kid and was clinging to Milf_GattlingGun’s leg, almost as if she were afraid of Zafira.
Rael approached from behind, causing them to slowly turn around.
“Heya.” Asimov waved. “Wanna say hello to the stream?”
“Nope,” Rael replied flatly and turned to Zafira. “Did you give them the quest?”
“Mhm.” Zafira slowly nodded. “The restoration quest is an interesting idea. No wonder you told us to hold off on using our resources.”
Rael shrugged. “I already spent 40 billion Trell in the last week. If I had to hire the dwarves or sothing, I’d have gone into debt.”
“4–40 Billion?” Karina’s eyes widened. “Hey… just how rich are you?”
“Pretty rich,” Rael replied with a chuckle. “Though you should get on with the quest. I might do an auction very soon…”
He trailed off, glancing at the miniature cara icon above Asimov’s head, then feigning ignorance.
“Whoops… now everyone knows, don’t they? Oh well…” Rael mumbled. “I’ll be auctioning 10 armor sets a week. The next auction will be held at the sa place as last ti, but since the gear is of higher quality, the minimum amount of Trell for entry is going to be around 500 million Trell.”
“Don’t you think you’re asking for too much?” Milf_GattlingGun comnted with a slight frown. “You do know most of the people who started a few minutes ago are still below level 10. They don’t even have 10,000 Trell to their nas.”
Rael tilted his head. “And how is that my problem? Also, cute kid.”
Elise’s eyes widened as she clung to Milf_GattlingGun’s leg tighter.
Rael rely chuckled as he reached into the Premium Shop and bought Elise a giant candy cane, which was nearly her size.
But just as he was about to hand it over to her, Milf_GattlingGun stepped forward, her expression cold.
“No spoiling my daughter.”
