Before Rael could question it or attack, it was sent flying right at him.

He narrowly dodged, his banana peels almost slipping off his feet.

Cheap item. I should've just crafted boots instead. Rael grumbled, glancing at the Skeleton King.

The next mont, he began casting, and soon, a massive fireball flew toward the Skeleton King, striking its black chestpiece.

Huh? Rael's eyes widened.

That barely even made a dent in the Skeleton King's HP.

That was not all, as before the Skeleton King could even react, the rainbow crystal lit up in a bright light and exploded silently.

Yet despite it being silent, it was certainly deadly, as a small hole appeared in the Skeleton King's armor, slightly revealing its bones.

However, before Rael could get too excited, the Skeleton King suddenly dashed away back to its throne, getting out of range from his skill.

Yet that was not all, as the Skeleton King materialized a javelin, and instead of throwing it toward Rael, stabbed itself through the chest.

What is it doing...? Rael tilted his head, when all of a sudden, the Skeleton King lit up in a red light.

And with that, a new popup:

—Awakened Skeleton King (Vice-General Class Boss) [Level ??] [255,000/255,000 HP]

Rael's eyes widened at the boss's rank.

It was Vice-General class, aning it was one rank above Rare. That ant the boss was now at least Level 50.

But aside from the rank, its stats were basically double what they had been a few monts ago, and at Vice-General and up, Boss Monsters really start to beco troubleso.

Still, this pissant will give that much more experience now. Rael thought with a sly grin, which froze upon eting the Boss Monster's red eyes.

It could see now, which made the fight that much harder.

Nonetheless, Rael's mission was pretty simple.

Break its armor, kill the boss monster.

Easy.

The Skeleton King manifested a javelin again, just this ti, many tis faster, then threw it directly at Rael.

He sidestepped, with only his clothes being ripped.

However...

"How... You bony fucker..." Rael glared at the boss monster before using his new skill.

The Skeleton King didn't see this coming, and since Rael planted the prisms in the middle of the boss room, they all shot straight toward the boss monster, who couldn't approach Rael at all.

It lit up like earlier, followed by:

Finally, an opening beca visible, and the area where the Skeleton King had stabbed itself earlier finally crumbled, revealing its entire chest.

It's ti... Rael prepared himself with a grin and waited for the Prisms to fracture again, until eventually, they did.

Just before they exploded, Rael used his Fireball skill.

And soon, the prisms lit up, before detonating.

Rael felt like his progress was good, so he checked the boss monster's HP again.

He had managed to dwindle its HP down quite a lot, and frankly, it seed like he was about to win any second now.

However, a sudden popup made him stop.

The fuck do you an 'unavoidable'!? Rael thought in panic as he extended his arm forward, preparing the perfect timing—which was in exactly a second.

The rainbow crystals embedded themselves into the Skeleton King's glowing red eyes.

At the sa ti, Rael began spam-casting Fireball.

Rael didn't accept right away. Instead, he stared at a particular number that had caught his eye.

I cleared the second dungeon... And there were three symbols at the start... A massive grin began spreading across his face as he let out a sigh and pressed "Yes."

"I'm going to be so fucking rich."
