The dusa stared at them awkwardly, startling the nearby players and everyone else except Rael and Zafira.

But before they could attack, Zafira raised her hand, stopping them.

“Is that her?” Zafira asked, her eyes sparkling as if she were looking at a toy.

Before she could get any funny ideas, Rael ruffled her hair and nodded at the dusa.

“I imagine it was difficult to cross the continent on foot. But you’re welco here…” he trailed off, getting a brilliant idea.

“Linlin?” he called out.

“…Yes?”

“When you go inside the dungeon, take dusa along, alright? She’s my familiar now, so you can trust her,” he said, and a deathly silence followed.

But just as they opened their mouths to protest, he grabbed Zafira by the waist and kicked off the ground

He was so fast that in less than a millisecond, he arrived at the palace, then the throne room and finally their ho on the blue star.

Rael carried her inside the massive mansion, and as he thought, he could hear distant sounds from the cinema room, aning her parents were here again.

But as he set Zafira down on the ground and prepared to greet her parents, she suddenly planted a deep kiss on his lips.

It lasted for a while, and of course, it set both of them in the mood.

So after exchanging one last glance at each other, they rushed into the master bedroom and locked the doors behind them.

Due to so completely unexpected circumstances, their departure was delayed by a single day.

Rael let out a sigh as he stared at the sleeping Zafira beside him, then gently brushed her hair, causing her to squirm slightly and let out a soft snore.

He pinched her nose, and bit by bit, her face got redder until eventually, her eyes shot open as she jumped up onto the bed, showcasing everything.

Rael whistled.

“Well, isn’t this a morning surprise?”

Zafira rolled her eyes and sat down in his lap, then gave him a soft kiss on the lips.

“I’ll miss you too,” she said.

He ruffled her hair one last ti and embraced her.

The embrace lasted a few minutes until eventually, the two parted.

Zafira swallowed the pill he had gotten her and dressed up.

Rael, on the other hand, put on so casual clothes and prepared himself.

Before she could finish her words, a box appeared on the bed, emitting a delicious aroma.

She tilted her head. “That doesn’t sll like a pizza…?”

“Because it isn’t.” Rael chuckled. “It’s a lasagna. Trust , it’s arguably better than pizza.”

A faint smile tugged at her lips as she stored the box of lasagna inside her inventory, and with that, gave him a wave.

“I’m offh,” she said, biting her tongue.

A wide smirk appeared on Rael’s face, and before he could tease her, she vanished.

He stared at the empty space for a few monts until eventually, he turned away.

It was strange, actually feeling sothing like this.

Such affection and love… he felt like he could lose it all at the snap of a finger.

I’m acting like a child… Rael thought with a sigh. I really need to get my shit together.

And he would do just that now.

He didn’t press anything yet, instead…

“You’re listening, right? Can you tell one thing…” he trailed off, his voice falling low. “Why exactly can I do whatever I want inside that mory record? Shouldn’t it be like a vision or sothing?”

And so were the pop-ups he had seen before the mory record ended.

The cops had long since stopped chasing him, yet the streets were completely demolished, with debris and bodies scattered around.

Just as he thought he could slip past all this destruction, he heard a growling noise from the side.

And once he turned toward it, he saw a rat that looked identical to the one he had fought when he first arrived inside Sketa Online.

Rael let out a chuckle and picked up a tal bar from the ground.
