Without giving Gaia even a mont to process his words, Rael closed his eyes, imdiately vanishing from the Mind Realm.

He felt a cold sensation envelop his body, but soon after, his vision returned. He felt slightly weaker, but after taking a glance at his stats, he was sure that the Gluttony skill hadn’t triggered.

Hollow Waltz, or the phoenix feather Vatyra had given him, didn’t pop either. It led him to believe that he might actually have survived such a fatal blow with just his regeneration alone.

Is that even possible? Rael wondered. Let’s see... Draconic Mana, and the Dragon Heart give a bunch of regeneration, then there’s my races, skills, specialized stats...

While his vision still hadn’t fully settled, Rael decided to add everything together. But it seed like he didn’t need to, as he soon found the option to display his HP regeneration. And as expected, it was nothing short of overpowered.

Base...? What if I pump my Dragon Heart faster?

As that question hung in the air, the answer soon erged, shocking him once again.

There’s a max for this shit too? Seriously? Rael sighed. Well... That would explain being able to heal from basically anything in the blink of an eye.

Of course, while he didn’t like the limit itself, he knew that it was more than enough for the ti being. However, when he focused deeper, another system prompt appeared.

Immortality... huh? At this rate, it doesn’t seem that far away, Rael mused. All I need to do is get a little stronger and my Dragon Heart will probably make immortal.

Whether that was how it worked or not, he didn’t know. But one thing was certain. Whichever way he regenerated made him at least partially immortal.

Anyhow... Rael’s vision finally cleared up, and the mont it did, he found himself lying on the ground with three beings overlooking him.

There were Vatyra, Chronos, and lastly, Kareth. It seed like Evelyn had already left.

Nonetheless, when Kareth realized that he had woken up, he let out an annoyed sigh.

"Welco back to the world of the living," Vatyra remarked from the side. "Turns out you’re as resilient as a phoenix. Or maybe it’s because I was nearby? Hmm..."

"He’s simply resilient," Chronos chid in. "Now that every challenger has been defeated, I believe it’s ti for the final test, is it not?"

The final challenger has been defeated? Rael raised a brow in confusion. I didn’t win though?

"Minos forfeited shortly after, and from what Evelyn told us, you managed to pass her test in the Mind Realm," Kareth spoke up, answering the question he had in mind. "That makes you the first person to beat five of the Supre Monsters, even if they strongly held back, and a few even forfeited. It’s an achievent in and of itself."

"Right..." Rael rolled his eyes. "I don’t really feel like I achieved anything, especially after the battle with Minos."

"Well, you did. Whether you like it or not, you’re now at the end of the succession trial," Kareth replied. "Now you must duel ... Or that’s what I would usually say."

He stepped forward, extending his hand toward the lying Rael.

"I don’t need any more proof that you’re compatible. You know how to synthesize skills and abilities, even without having your mana pathways opened. You also specialize in control, which is what my Supre Law is. The Law of Control, also known as the Law of Absolute Control."

"So what now?" Rael cut straight to the chase. "Do I just get the crown of the Hollow King, or what happens?"

Kareth shook his head. "I will give you a reward for your troubles. After that, I’m sure you can guess..."

Rael was curious about what he ant, but that was when Kareth suddenly grabbed him by the hand, lifting him up.

Without saying another word, he suddenly tapped Rael’s forehead, and in the next instant, Rael felt a wave of mana wash over him. However, just as quickly, the mana vanished.

Or that was what he thought. Instead, the mana had begun to gather toward his finger where, coincidentally, there was the ring Kareth had gifted him a couple of months ago.

The mana gathered directly into the ring, causing it to light up in a bright white color. The ground shook, slightly parting.

But the continental destruction that he was half-expecting didn’t happen. Chronos dealt with it by constantly turning back ti. Even while turning back ti, he did it ticulously, making sure not to interfere with the process Rael was going through.

And after just a few minutes had passed, the process seed to be over as the ring glowed brightly, nearly blinding Rael.

He was slightly impressed by how beautiful the ring had turned out. Intricate patterns, runes, and enchants that he couldn’t understand... but just knowing he had sothing so valuable was a ga changer.

But its value only showed itself when he inspected the ring.

The stat increases were insane, as they would essentially double his stats. However, since his stats had technically reached the maximum for his Grade, he couldn’t feel the difference, at least not anywhere outside of the Depths or the Dragon Realm.

Even so, getting such a nto after working his ass off to fight these strong individuals sure was a rewarding feeling.

But aside from that, he went ahead and checked out the new skill.
