"Haah? Where’s this sudden change in attitude coming from, huh?" the thug cackled. "Almost seems like you grew a pair of balls. Speaking of balls, should I sell you to a brothel? I know one that’s hiring, actually..."

The thug continued to ramble on and on, and in the anti, Altros, who was now controlled by Rael, remained still.

Rael subtly used the DTP he had brought with him to regenerate his ankle, and like magic, it actually worked. He was healed back to full, and now, he wanted nothing more than to rip the man in front of him to pieces.

He was the hospital director’s son, Dom. He was soone Rael hadn’t associated with much in the past, though they did go to school together. He bullied Rael, but after graduation, the two only crossed paths the few tis Rael had gone to the hospital to visit his sister.

Dom scoffed, preparing to kick Rael away again.

He weaved under Dom’s foot and then, with all his might, elbowed him in the balls.

A gasp escaped his mouth, and just then, the two thugs swung their bats at him.

Rael’s first instinct was to block with his forearms, but he knew how fragile his current body was. Regenerating too many broken bones would zap away all the DTP he had left.

So instead of that, he chose an alternative.

Taking a few steps back, Rael picked up the lid of a trash can and used it like a shield, earning a mocking laugh from the two thugs.

"Pfftt! Hahaha!"

"Does he think he’s so kind of paladin? Hahaha! Boss, get up and record this! We’re about to—"

Before the second thug could finish his words, he lost grip on the bat, which was yanked out of his hand by none other than Rael, who then used it to redirect the bat of the first thug.

But he wouldn’t let these people off that easily.

Rael swung the bat down on the first thug’s shoulder, infusing a small amount of mana into his attack.

The thug’s bones shattered so much that a loud crack resounded. The thug passed out on the spot and began bleeding from everywhere.

"S-Shit!" the second thug scread, glancing all around for a way out.

But it was already too late, as Rael’s bat had already made its way directly into the thug’s mouth, shattering all his teeth and destroying his jaw.

He was still conscious, but only for a mont, as Rael threw the trash can lid like a certain patriotic superhero, cutting off the thug’s hand and causing him to convulse on the ground, bleeding out rapidly.

A faint smile appeared on Rael’s face as he pushed his hair back slightly, the blood from the two thugs staining his cheek.

Even so, he couldn’t care less as he slowly made his way over to Dom, who was still scrunched up on the ground.

"Guhh... Who the fuck are you!?" Dom yelled. "Did you do so voodoo bullshit and give your body up to a demon? Fuck... I knew you were weird, but not this weird."

A slight smirk appeared on his face as he looked up at Rael.

"But I’ll let it slide if you just walk away, Rael. Hey, I’ll even stop asking you for the money. After all, we’re friends, aren’t we? Let bygones be bygones, ain’t that what you said the last ti?"

"Wow..." Rael sighed. "To think that so much shit can co out of one person’s mouth. You really are in my top ten of the shittiest people I’ve ever t."

Dom’s brows twitched when, all of a sudden, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife, aiming it directly at Rael’s throat.

Rael sighed at the turn of events, and without much effort, he swatted the knife away and then placed a hand on Dom’s forehead.

Dom seed confused, but right as he tried to snatch Rael’s hand, his body fell limp. He fell face-first onto the concrete and slightly cracked his skull. His eyes were still open and confused, but Rael didn’t even feel a trace of pity.

"You made fun of my sister, so it’s only right I discipline you," Rael said, crouching down and grabbing Dom’s hair. "You won’t ever be able to do anything without the help of sobody. You won’t be able to talk, walk, or even wipe your own ass anymore. But don’t worry, for soone so confident in getting their father’s help for every single minor thing, I’m sure you’ll manage."

Dom’s eyes widened in horror, but ignoring that, Rael went over to the two thugs, both of whom were on the verge of death.

Placing a hand on both of their foreheads, he turned them into complete vegetables just like he had done to Dom.

And when he was finished, Rael heaved a relieved breath before turning to the one bat in his hand and the other on the ground.

Then he turned toward Dom with a malevolent gaze.

"I’m also true to my word. But this ti, I’m not really sorry."

Rael watched several dozen police and ambulance cars approach the alleyway. The cops and dics ran out to treat the thugs.

"H-Holy shit!"

"One... Two! There’s two inside his..."

Rael turned around, finally feeling satisfied.

Therefore, by releasing his control over Altros’s body, Rael allowed Altros to co back into control, his expression greatly shaken.

"Y-You..." Altros muttered. "Did you just...?"

"The more questions you ask, the less I feel like answering them," Rael replied inside his mind. "For now, don’t sweat the small stuff. Your body should be in tip-top shape, so go to the brothel. You have around forty minutes before the hospital director gets there."
