Rael had stopped keeping track of ti after a few months. Honestly, he really hoped that Beatrice would beco so nice lady after a bit, but sadly, that wasn’t the case.

"Can you buy another... what’s it called again?"

"Television."

"Yeah, buy that one," Beatrice urged. "The remote slipped out of my hands last ti. I couldn’t help it."

He glanced at the five TVs on the ground that had holes in them, then let out an exhausted breath.

"You’re not getting anything else."

The mont he said that, Rael created a thin thread of mana between him and Beatrice. It was nearly instant, and she had no ti to react as he overtook her body.

All the while, since the thread of mana was still connected to his main body, Rael managed to not fall and even walk.

"You know, I’ve been thinking over it, and it seems a little inefficient," Rael said. "I an, by using that thread, you’re kind of revealing yourself, aren’t you?"

After all, with only his consciousness, he at the very least wouldn’t leave behind a trace.

I wonder if this is just what the con is of the whole ordeal. Or maybe it’s because I’m following in Beatrice’s steps that I’m ssing up a bit.

[What did you say?] Beatrice’s voice rang out inside his mind. [Why are you even invading my body anymore? Huh? You haven’t changed your tactics from the last couple hundred tis. You know I’ll just break out in a minute or two, right?]

She was, of course, not wrong. But his ti in the Prophetical Realm wasn’t wasted.

So when a few minutes passed and she sent her own thread of mana from her body to his, Rael intercepted it. He took control of it and then carefully reinforced his own thread.

It worked like a charm, and while she continued to panic inside her own mind, Rael forgot one crucial part.

In the grand sche of things, this was like a duel between them, and when it ca to a battle of mind gas, it was all fair ga.

And the one thing he had overlooked was her constant usage of this thread.

So when he lost connection to his own thread, as well as the mana he had been gathering, his body soon began to move all by itself again.

"Wow, this was a lot easier than I thought it would be."

Rael narrowed his eyes.

"Beatrice, and here I thought you would have sothing special for ."

"Isn’t this special?" Beatrice tilted her head, or rather, his head. "I took over your body, and you don’t have enough mana to fight back against ."

She put a hand on his chin. "I wonder... Should I turn you into a eunuch or a pirate? Which one do you prefer?"

Before Rael could even reply, Beatrice suddenly walked up to him and then banged his head against hers. For so reason, even with all his stats likely being higher than hers, his head began to bleed.

On the other hand, while he was inside her body, he didn’t feel even an ounce of pain.

And just like that, his body once again fell limp, followed by Rael being pushed out of Beatrice’s body once more.

When he opened his eyes, he felt a stinging sensation on his forehead, and when he looked up, he t her cheeky grin.

"I decided to spare you because you have a wife, or two, I guess. If you’re ever going to have children, then... well, I don’t want to be a howrecker," she said.

It was a bit odd seeing her like this. After all, their first eting was pretty hectic. The way they parted was even more hectic, considering he was on the verge of killing her before Evelyn stepped in.

But even so, with the injury she had just caused him... she won the ga Evelyn had proposed to them.

"So what now?" Rael asked. "I an, you won. Do you want so kind of reward? Was there even a reward to begin with?"

"Hm? No," Beatrice replied plainly. "My sister might give sothing special for beating you. You, on the other hand, wouldn’t have gotten anything aside from experience."

"Ouch." Rael sighed. "Though now that you’ve won, care to tell what I was doing wrong?"

"Nope." Beatrice shook her head. "That’s for you to figure out. Though, I must say... the way you overtook my thread caught a little off guard. If that was my intention from the start, then you might have won."

But alas, he lost.

He couldn’t even bla her for not telling him anything. To be honest, he had played out this exact scenario in the Prophetical Realm. He had seen her beating him a few tis, and that was the outco he was trying to avoid.

But no matter what he did, he felt like the only way he could beat her was by spending years in here. Would he want to spend years in here all alone with her? Probably not.

However, as silence overtook them once again, the two waited for Evelyn to speak up. Yet even after several minutes had passed, there was no word from her.

"Should we just break her pocket dinsion?" Rael suggested, earning a bonk from Beatrice.

"Don’t even think about it," she replied. "She’ll probably co out. My sister is shy sotis, so you might have to wait just a little longer than you should."

He inwardly agreed and then sat down on his bed again.

An hour, ten hours, a day, a week, and then a month.

He was plenty patient, and yet, Beatrice finally began showing so panic.

"Do you think sothing happened to her? But if..." Beatrice mumbled. "Hey, I think we really should break this damn thing."

Hearing that, Rael inwardly apologized to Evelyn in advance. She did say not to touch it, but even after he tried reaching out to her countless tis, it didn’t work.

Even the spatial communication bubble was a dud.

But when that thought passed through his mind, he raised a brow.

Do we even need to break it? Can’t we just re-enter the Ancient Mindweaver Realm?
