"Woman, have you gone mad?" Burger asked, puzzled.

Yet Victoria didn’t seem to care much as she stood up and walked past Burger, approaching Rael.

"Our physical bodies are there for a reason, woman. We made an oath to stay there."

"Yes yes. You ntioned it already," Victoria replied, uninterested. "We break that oath and you beco weakened for a bit. Though if we do break it, we can just pull you out of there."

Burger glanced between her and Rael, as if asking Rael’s help in this situation.

But Rael felt like no matter what he said, this woman would insist on going to the Spirit Realm and breaking Burger out.

It was genuine dedication, but Rael began to think of Burger as so kind of toy.

This woman was going so far just so he would have no choice but to marry her.

Rael kind of liked her now.

"I’ll help out."

Burger’s eyes widened.

"Shouldn’t you be the voice of reason? Rael, co on. This is the sa as invading the Divine Realm and the Dragon Realm combined. Do you even fathom just how many people have died since the start of ti? There are an imasurable amount of spirits, so who are as strong as I am."

Rael didn’t really listen, as getting both Burger and the Fate Dragon race on his side would most likely be better than the spirits of the Spirit Realm, who would not even be able to actively help.

Sure, Rael could probably get the help of a few million spirits by contracting them, but like... what’s the point?

He could just make several million constructs instead.

They would only use mana once to construct and after that, none. On the other hand, Rael wasn’t sure how it would go when controlling the spirits.

After all, to use their abilities, they needed to siphon mana from their contractor.

It would be too ti-consuming.

But if he were to give his constructs a spirit each... and if every one of the constructs had infinite mana, then...

Rael was at a little bit of a standstill now.

"Bur-Astaroth, is there any way to get you out of that kind of oath?"

As much as Rael wanted to refer to Burger as Burger, he didn’t want to embarrass him in front of his potential future wife.

"I can leave my race for at most four hours before they start to suspect sothing."

"You’re serious about this?" Burger chid in.

Victoria nodded.

"Indeed. When I free you, I will use your gratitude to make you mine. Refusal is not an option."

Burger stared at her for a bit longer, then rolled his eyes.

Finally, his figure began to blur until, finally, he returned inside Rael’s mind.

[Fucking hell... You better get my body out of there,] Burger said excitedly.

Rael rolled his eyes.

[Yep. And look where that’s gotten you,] Burger replied with a chuckle. [A lovely couple. Shit... I just hope she’s not a dude under all those tits.]

With those words, Rael pushed back Burger’s presence further inside his mind until he could no longer talk to him.

Then, he turned back to Victoria.

"So? What now?"

"I believe I have a master key sowhere in my inventory. It allows to enter any realm that I please. A boon for becoming the Fate Dragon King, if you will," Victoria said.

Then, she pointed past him.

"Also, since you’re not actually here, cancel the Prophetic Realm and co. By the ti you arrive, I should have everything ready."

Rael tilted his head.

"Don’t you want to warn your race about ? I’m by the gates, and they don’t seem to know you’ve summoned ."

She smiled.

"That’s for you to figure out. Consider it warm up."

Seeing how serious she was, Rael could only sigh.

"Fine."

With those words, he canceled his Prophetic Realm and once again reappeared beside the entrance.

"I asked, why would our king summon you?"

It seed like they were still on that conversation.

"I broke so rules, so the king told to co and et them. Can I go now?" Rael replied.

And yet, the guards still refused to move aside.

As much as Rael didn’t want to fight anybody, he felt like he had no choice at the mont.

So Rael decided to use one of his newer abilities, and that was the Ordinance stat.

It was very similar to the Draconic Tongue, except Ordinance rewrote Laws themselves.

But he would just use it as Draconic Tongue instead.

"Move aside."

The mont Rael uttered those words, the two guards took a few steps back.

They tried to resist, but in doing so, their knees began to bend at odd angles, and their necks cracked slightly.

Realizing that any attempt to move would get them killed, they halted, their frowns deepening.

"Do you understand what you’ve just done?"

Rael t their gaze.

"Enlighten ."

The guard paused for a mont, then said:

"You’ve just made an enemy of the entire Fate Dragon race, filthy exile. You should run while you still have the chance."

Rael let out a sigh at the threat.

It was nice and all, and it might’ve been valid had he not just cooked up a plan with Victoria a few seconds ago.

Anyhow, since he had no beef with these guards, Rael simply slapped them across the face and knocked them out before moving on ahead toward Victoria’s throne room.
