Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 72 72: Buying A Map
I really wonder how I'm supposed to finish this quest though... Rael pondered as he trailed Thalor and the guard closely.
They sprinted out of the mansion and arrived in the encampnt's very middle, where a bunch of people seed to have already gathered.
Rael noticed each of them had rocks or pitchforks in their hands, thrusting them at a particular individual who was shriveled up, hiding his face.
Thalor calmly approached, and as he did, the people parted, making way as he reached the person on the ground.
"Peter, correct?" Thalor asked.
The shriveled-up man flinched before looking up at Thalor.
Yet as his face beca visible, everyone gasped, and Rael's brows furrowed.
It's the sa twitchy black ooze stuff, just not on the hands, but the face. Rael noted.
"You're infected, Peter," Thalor remarked with a sigh. "You know what that ans, don't you?"
"P-Please... I think I've found the cure, I just need a few more weeks!" Peter begged.
However, it was obviously not Thalor's first ti doing this, as he took out a pair of dical gloves from his inventory, put them on, and grabbed Peter by the collar.
"W-Wait! Please!"
"Peter. Quiet," Thalor said as a cold pressure shot out from him, affecting all the people present. "You know the rules. So I'll let you make a choice."
Giving Peter a mont to think, he continued. "Would you like to be burned at the stake, or do you want to leave the Mirefall encampnt of your own free will?"
So it's either die now, or die later. Rael watched on from the sidelines.
"I-I..." Tears began streaming down Peter's face. "I want to leave."
"Very well," Thalor nodded, as he turned to look at the crowd. "I need soone strong enough to lead him to the graveyard. Any volunteers?"
"I'll go!" the guard from earlier volunteered.
Thalor nodded at the guard. "Elaric, I see... I wish you luck, and please return safely."
"Yes, Chieftain!" the guard, Elaric, replied and walked over to Peter before grabbing him by the waist and chucking him over his shoulder.
Since he wore full armor, he didn't need to worry about the infection spreading by touch, so he simply approached the lever from earlier and flicked it.
Imdiately, the plank dropped down, slightly shaking the ground on impact.
Nonetheless, the guard swiftly ran out, Peter in hand, until eventually, Rael couldn't see them anymore.
That was sothing. So whenever soone is infected, they get killed, or taken to so graveyard, where they're also killed...? Rael thought, puzzled.
He didn't really understand the purpose behind it, but aside from that, he was going to do sothing he wanted to do earlier.
"Thalor, I have a few extra rations. Can I distribute them here?" Rael asked.
"Rations...? Yes, you may do that," he agreed, before clearing his throat and turning to the people. "Everyone! There are so rations my friend here wishes to distribute. Form a single file line!"
Imdiately, the people did just that, almost as if they were mind-controlled.
But he wouldn't do it that openly, would he? Rael pondered, as he opened the premium shop.

Rael looked away from the shop for a mont. "How many of them are there?"
"143. I'll also take a ration, so 144," Thalor said with a smile.
21,600 Trell. Rael did so quick math and, without even batting an eye, bought that many batches.
Imdiately, crate after crate appeared on the ground, surprising the people around.
"Is this...?" Thalor's eyes widened.
"While it's not the best food, it's sothing at least," Rael replied.
Nonetheless, he expected the people to run rampant at the sight of so much food, but they didn't even flinch.
Which ant...
Thalor definitely did sothing.
They got their food one by one, and so did Thalor as he flashed a grin at Rael.
"Good job. I appreciate your patronage. How often can you do this, by the way? It would co in handy."
"Once a week." Rael shrugged. "I can't just spawn food out of nowhere every day. That would be a little overpowered."
"Hahaha, you're right," Thalor said, as he turned toward his mansion. "I'm going to head to bed. You, on the other hand, can pick any of the mansions beside — they're all empty."
With that, Thalor left—and so did the people who, after getting their food, all went back to their housing.
As for Rael, he finally had so alone ti.
That was why he decided to head to the highest point in the entire encampnt, which just so happened to be the walls themselves.
Rael carefully climbed on top of them, and now, he overlooked the entire encampnt, as well as the black land outside the encampnt.
I need to buy a map or sothing... Rael thought as he glanced into the premium shop again.

• Partial Map of The Depths [Plague Lands] (Epic): 1,000,000 Trell
• Map of The Depths (Legendary): 1,000,000,000 Trell
Fucking hell. Rael winced at the prices.
However, he had to buy the first one—otherwise, he'd be in the dark.
Therefore, he pressed on the first map, and soon, a massive scroll appeared in his hands.
Rael unrolled it, and imdiately, he could recognize so stuff.
At the very bottom to the left was the encampnt, surrounded by walls like it should be.
However, at the very top, he saw a bit of crimson land, with two cities, Kurozan and Volkrath.
Aside from that, Rael could see several stone monunts scattered across the black Plague Lands, bones the size of cities, and mountains that stretched outside the map.
There were several settlents all around the Plague Lands, so of which he would have to visit on his way to the monunts.
Nonetheless, this alone had put into perspective how massive this world was.
And better yet? He had no fucking clue where to even start.
But maybe... the first thing I should check out are those monunts... Rael trailed off, his eyes widening as he reopened the map.
There were 10 monunts in total, and one was not too far away from the encampnt, so he'd go to it first.
Rael let out a sigh, as he looked up at the empty sky where only a single massive red moon was present.
This is going to be a long nigh—
