Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 748: Accidental Spar
Chapter 748: Accidental Spar
“Do I know you?” Aries asked, tilting his head slightly. “Because I definitely don’t rember allowing you to train here.”
Rael scratched the back of his head.
“My bad… I’m just visiting here. I didn’t know this place belonged to you. I can pay for the damages if you’d like.”
Rael might be money hungry, but he wasn’t entirely unreasonable.
Though, to Aries, who just stared at Rael as though he was a bug, he seed pretty damn unreasonable.
“If I took a shit on your doorstep and then offered you a new doorstep, would you go through the trouble of cleaning my shit to change your doorstep?” Aries asked.
Rael’s mind blanked at the analogy.
“I suppose I’d tell you to clean what’s yours.”
Aries nodded, and Rael got the hint.
Storing the broken dummy inside his inventory, he went ahead and bought a new one from the Premium Shop.
As it turned out, the sa model wasn’t that expensive, costing only 5 Premium Coins.
Yet the mont Rael purchased it, one of the dummies that was in front of him suddenly vanished before reappearing inside his hand.
Around that ti, Rael realized that these dummies were limited edition, and the one he had just bought… well…
It might have belonged to Aries.
Rael innocently placed the dummy down in the position where it should have been, and after that, he nodded at Aries before slowly making his way past him.
Though it didn’t take long for Aries to simply cough, making Rael stop dead in his tracks.
“Yes?”
“I will cut you so slack since you managed to break the dummy. But pray tell, how does a Grade 4 manage to obliterate a dummy ant to train the elite soldiers of Olympus?” Aries asked.
Rael shrugged.
“I ate a healthy breakfast today. Perhaps that’s why. Or maybe because I’m quite proficient in a few Laws as well.”
Aries humd, then drew a black sword from his inventory and pointed it at Rael.
“Perhaps you would like to show this proficiency in question?”
“Ah. Now that you ntion it, I’m a little busy, you see. I need to get to—”
“Let rephrase,” Aries interjected, clearing his throat.
“If you do not fight now, I will end your life.”
Rael let out a sigh.
He knew it would co to this, but deep down in his hearty heart, he expected to just get away scot free.
Sadly for him, Aries seed to be a little too excited.
So Rael just walked back and took a random fighting stance.
Aries’s pressure was pretty intense, but by the way he was loosely holding his sword, it was clear he wasn’t intent on fighting seriously.
But even so, the mont Rael blinked, Aries was already gone.
If not for his foresight, Rael felt like his head would have already been cleaved off.
Yet in turn, Rael nimbly dodged the incoming horizontal slash and took a step back, only to be t with Aries’s downward slash.
Honestly.
Rael could keep dodging and dodging, but he might as well go for a counterattack while he was at it.
So with that in mind, Rael reached into his inventory and pulled out the Supre Sword.
It was the sword he had used alongside the Violin Blade, and it was also the sa sword he had used back then when he combined the Supre Sword and his Crystal Violin Blade.
Thankfully, it worked independently, but with the added bonus of scaling off the Supre Violin Blade’s stats.
And because of that, the mont Rael’s and Aries’s swords clashed, the two of them were imdiately rooted in place, causing the ground surrounding them to crack as they were forced backward.
But unlike Rael’s bored and unwilling fighting style, Aries’s assertiveness placed him in front of Rael with a powerful strike, and then another one.
Again and again, the two of them clashed.
With each clash, the intensity of the spar increased, to the point where the two of them had attracted a crowd.
A crowd of random gods, and even a few gods Rael had sowhat recognized, as they weren’t just random faces.
Though he didn’t have much ti to think, as he had to focus on Aries.
When the dummies began disintegrating from the sheer pressure of their clash, Rael knew they had entered Grade 9 territory.
But just then, they parted from one another and stared at each other from a distance.
Rael would rather prefer to end the fight here.
Though the look in Aries’s eyes clearly told Rael that he didn’t want it to end yet.
So Rael might as well humor him a little.
Rael raised his sword above his head and channeled a tiny amount of the Law of Infinity.
It was so tiny that it wouldn’t have the black hole and erasure effect that it usually had.
Instead, it would just deal a shit ton of damage and pierce armor.
Or that was the hope, anyway.
As he stared at Aries opposite him, Rael decided to make the first move.
Kicking off the ground, he arrived in front of Aries, and before he could swing down, Rael got the upper hand, channeling all of his strength into the slash as their swords collided.
In an instant, the space cracked, sending a small arc of mana off into the distance, accidentally disintegrating one of the spectators.
Once the rest noticed, they began to flee to a safer distance, yet the ones a bit more powerful got even closer, ready to observe this from basically the first row.
But the small arc of mana was only the beginning, as the spatial crack expanded with them in the middle.
The space turned silver, much like Rael’s Law of Infinity.
And to Rael’s surprise, he felt like he could control that spatial crack however he wished.
So using that knowledge, Rael focused on the spatial crack and moved it toward Aries’s sword.
Aries’s eyes widened, but before he could pull his sword back, Rael closed the spatial crack and caused a miniature black hole to appear in the center of Aries’s sword, swallowing it whole and forcing Aries to kick off the ground with all his strength to make distance.
As for Rael, he stared at the mini black hole that he felt a strange connection to, and with a snap of his fingers, he made it vanish.
Rael yawned slightly.
“Good fight. That was fun, but I gotta go now.”
Ignoring Aries’s expression, Rael turned around.
Yet once he saw the looks of shock, terror, and surprise on the crowd’s faces, Rael gulped.
I did sothing, didn’t I?
