"I believe this is a very bad idea," Seryn comnted, a massive frown on his face.

"I did ask how attached you were. A 2 out of 10 isn't that attached." Rael shrugged with a chuckle.

He didn't have many options when it ca to fighting that monster up there.

It was a narrow room—one he could get thrown out of at a mont's notice.

The fall wouldn't kill him, but it would hurt like hell.

That was why he took a different approach.

•—Premium Shop—•

Category: Explosives/Demolition

•—Balance: 4,877,217 Trell—•

• Dynamite (Common): 2,500 Trell

Out of respect for whoever built the lighthouse, and definitely not because he was lazy, Rael decided to simply destroy one side.

Coincidentally, if it toppled over, the monster inside would fall straight into the sea.

A specter couldn't swim or drown, but the Sea Serpents would likely deal with it.

So, Rael bought 20 pieces of dynamite and spread them on the southern part of the lighthouse before stepping away.

"Once again, I implore you to reconsider," Seryn suggested plainly.

Rael rolled his eyes. "Do you even know what I'm doing?"

"You are about to make a loud sound and lure the monster outside, is that correct?" Seryn stated confidently.

However, Rael rely shook his head. "You'll see in just a second."

Just in case, Rael found himself so makeshift rock cover—as, despite this being a sowhat safe process, if The Beast were to wake up, he'd be fucked.

But alas, no risk, no reward.

"Seryn, I want you to stay quiet for a while, alright?" Rael said, earning a nod from Seryn in response.

Since he had already moved his Hover Bike and Sweepus Pri, the only thing left to do was...

Okay... here goes nothing—

—BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

The explosion rang out much louder than he expected. However, when the lighthouse began toppling over, Rael knew he had succeeded.

"What in the seven hells..." Seryn muttered. "Is this so sorcery you pulled from the demonic faction?"

"I have no clue what you're saying, but nope, probably not." Rael shrugged as he brought his attention back to the lighthouse.

It leaned more and more, until finally, it completely collapsed at the bottom before suddenly toppling over the cliff and falling into the sea.

Rael let out a relieved breath but didn't get ahead of himself.

After all, The Beast could co out at any mont.

Therefore, he waited for several minutes—yet no pop-up appeared.

It's not coming? That was a very loud sound though... so why? Rael pondered.

He glanced toward Seryn, who seed a bit out of it as his eyes were unfocused, but Rael put that behind him as there were more pressing matters at hand.

Rael walked over to the edge of the cliff and just barely managed to spot the lighthouse, which sohow still hadn't sunk.

However, as he thought that it would stay that way—for a single mont—he saw so kind of black outline swimming across the surface of the sea.

What the... is it that thing I saw on the map near the Frostpire Bastion? That massive serpent...? Rael thought with widened eyes, and soon...

The massive black shape dived deeper before suddenly shooting upward, revealing its entire body for a re mont as it dove back down, the lighthouse now completely gone from sight.

But that mont was enough for Rael to inspect the monster.

And as he did, a shiver ran down his spine.

—Umbraleth, Wyrm of the Black Tides (Leader Class Boss) [Level 432] [29,859,840,000/29,859,840,000 HP]

No fucking thank you... I'll probably have to fly to Frostpire Bastion because no way in fuck am I going anywhere near that thing. Rael thought as he turned his gaze toward a new ssage that had popped up.

< 969,807 (20%) Trell Acquired>

< 17,700 Trell Bonus>

20%? Rael's eyes widened. I didn't even deal damage to it though.

He was expecting 1% or even 5%, as that would've been enough to level him up a few tis.

But 20%?

Fucking generous serpent, I might actually go on land. Rael nodded a few tis before glancing at what was left of the lighthouse.

It was now in ruins, and only the first floor remained sowhat intact.

However, as he was about to dismiss that, a particular glowing object caught his interest.

It was lying beside the rubble, and to the naked eye, it wouldn't be visible.

I guess I have Primordial Sight to thank for it... but I really should figure out how to better use the skill... Intimidation? Combat? It works everywhere... Rael grumbled before approaching the object and picking it up.

Yet as he picked it up and inspected it, Rael's eyes widened.

—Beacon's Final Lant (Epic Crafting Material)

If fused with an item, the item acquires the following option:

1. Wail of the Drowned: Emit a sound that lowers enemy morale by (5%~15%) or magic defense by (10%~30%) for a short duration.

Type: AoE Debuff.

Holy shit... if I can put this onto my Violin Blade, then I'd have a perfect black string... Rael thought with excitent as he quickly stashed away the item.

He would upgrade it a bit later, once he finally had so free ti.

But until then, there was one more person he had to deal with.

"Seryn, are you done spacing out?" Rael called out, earning a nod in response.

"I apologize. I do not know what ca over . My eyesight just suddenly left ," Seryn muttered. "But fear not, I am well prepared for anything that might occur."

Noble as always... Rael sighed.

"So what now? The lighthouse is basically destroyed, so I doubt you're planning to live in it. Do you want to co with or sothing? I can lead you to a settlent," Rael asked as he approached him.

"I am not quite sure where I wish to travel yet. My map is a bit out of date," Seryn replied as he pulled out a map, which only displayed the Abandoned Lighthouse's location.

"Yeah..." Rael sighed and decided to be the good guy for once.

"I have a normal map, and I could take you to other areas—but in exchange, I'd like a small monetary compensation. How does that sound?"
