Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 822 822: In His Mind
With that, Alune and the Supre Beast walked away. Of course, Rael provided him with the necessities he needed.
Free of charge too, to leave a good impression. In the end, he hoped Alune and the Supre Beast could patch up their relationship, or at least try to change it from the current one.
After all, both of them deserved to be happy, and even though that guy might not have been the best grandpa, it was never too late to make so ands.
Anyhow...
"Care to let in your mind?" Gaia asked.
She leaned down beside him and placed her hand over his forehead.
"You seem conflicted."
"I am conflicted," Rael replied.
Gaia paused for a mont, and right as she was about to say sothing, Rael continued:
"How would you feel if, for all your life, you thought you were sothing more? Instead, you were just a random nobody who copied soone's identity? Honestly... Shit. This is pissing off the more I think about it."
She imdiately clocked what he was trying to say.
"Are you saying your existence is just that of the Supre Beast's copy?"
Rael nodded.
"Essentially, yeah. I used to be his virtual reality headset or sothing. It bugged out and created ."
"Did it really bug out, though?" Gaia whistled. "I an... When fate exists, are there ever coincidences? What if you weren't actually copied?"
Rael rolled his eyes.
"I've made too many theories up until now to give a shit. I'll find out the rest if that wasn't everything. For now though, I'd like it if we just kept it to ourselves for the mont."
Then, he pointed at his forehead.
"Co. You can check out the rest."
Gaia paused for a mont before vanishing. She reappeared inside his mind, and he knew that she was now scanning the interaction he had with the Supre Beast. He knew she wasn't the type of person to judge, but his self-esteem was so low at the mont that Rael felt like he just wanted to curl up and vanish.
But instead of doing that, Rael decided to glance over at the throne. It seed pretty expensive, as despite how dirty it was, the throne was made out of pure diamonds.
And, if Rael was technically the Supre Beast's copy, what was his was also Rael's.
So with that in mind, Rael decided to go around the throne room and borrow all the expensive jewelry. Rather than selling it, he was going to place it inside Celestara's throne room. After all, it looked incredibly boring and shit so far.
There were a few important bits of jewelry Rael didn't dare to touch, as they had nas inscribed in them, and even a makeshift picture of a woman. Rael guessed that it was the Supre Beast's wife, and if that was the case, he wanted to stay as far away from the drama as possible.
The diamond throne was fair ga though.
In the end, by the ti the Supre Beast ca back out, it seed as though a hurricane had blown through his throne room, specifically targeting the expensive jewelry, and even so paintings he had on the walls.
"...What happened here?" the Supre Beast asked coldly.
Rael shrugged.
"I passed out. By the ti I ca to, everything was already gone. Even Gaia disappeared. I swear, I had nothing to do with this."
"He's lying," Alune chid in.
"A-Alune? I thought you were on my side here?" Rael said, feeling hurt.
She let out a chuckle.
"I'm on no one's side."
Then, she pointed at the Supre Beast.
"Renoir and I have talked it out."
Rael raised a brow.
"Renoir? What kind of corny na is that?"
"Well, do you want to call Rael or Altros instead? Renoir's another na I had picked up as the Grim Reaper. Just call that," the Supre Beast said.
"Hmm... Fine. In that case, Renoir, are you ready to go?" Rael offered. "Also, do you reckon I shouldn't use the fragnts?"
Renoir shrugged.
"You can most certainly use them, but don't will the universes to rge back together. Even I won't be able to help you if you put the nail in the coffin that way."
Rael nodded.
"Then can I get the last fragnt?"
"Later. First, I want to take a breath of fresh air. Also, my presence will likely be the first thing that the Ancient Primordials pick up on, so preferably, let's not head straight to your howorld. I'm still a little rusty, so I'm afraid I won't be able to defeat all of them just yet."
Fair enough.
Well, that was sorted, and since he looked like a normal person now, Rael knew that he could be at ease.
But still, the revelation about his own identity kind of ssed him up. On one end, he literally had a perk that made it so he could absorb the mories of the deceased.
If what Renoir said was true, then did that an Rael had the mories of every single being who had ever died inside his mind, locked away sowhere?
Not to ntion, Renoir had said it took trillions of years for Rael to be born... Just how many hidden perks did Rael have?
More importantly, just what kind of being was he to begin with?
[Calm down...] Gaia's soothing voice resounded inside his mind.
[You're gnawing at the unknown. You need to relax, screw your head on straight, and then ponder over this.]
Right as Rael was about to say sothing, he suddenly felt a dull sensation in the back of his mind.
[It might feel like a sting, or maybe a dull sensation. Either way, I have made it so your mind is more relaxed. Basically simulating the sensation of smoking weed or sothing similar,] Gaia said, then let out a chuckle.
Afterwards, she reappeared in front of him and tapped on his shoulder.
"You don't have to worry. Leave the rest to ."
