"Dude, wake up," Rael said sternly. "You're drooling on my seats."

Seryn shot awake imdiately. "My apologies. I was dreaming about my fiancée."

"I'm sure you were, but could you do one favor?" Rael asked.

"As long as it is within my limits," Seryn replied.

"Alright then, can you stop talking so formally with ? The first couple of tis were funny and all, but now it's getting a bit repetitive," Rael complained. "I get that you might've been raised in so noble family, but you're just too stiff to talk to."

"I see..." Seryn muttered. "I can try toning it down a notch then. Before joining the Blue Dragon sect, I was actually a beggar."

Noticing the change in tone, Rael let out a sigh. "Good to know. Also, I think it's about ti I tell you what we're doing here."

Seryn nodded. "I'm listening."

"I'm going to awaken the beast, so I need you to stay deathly silent," Rael explained flatly. "There are certain things I must do in order to get back to my lovely wife, and one of them is to light all the bonfires."

"Co back... can I go back too then?" Seryn muttered, eting Rael's eyes. "Are you sure this'll work?"

Rael shrugged. "I can go back that way. I'm not sure about you, though. I guess we'll find out after lighting all 10 of the bonfires."

Before Seryn could say another word, Rael stepped out.

Like before, a massive obelisk stood—but this ti, there was a single unexpected guest.

—Plague Abomination (Commander Class Elite) [Level 202] [3,448,240,000/3,448,240,000] ( 1,000,000,000)

It was a massive lump of black goo, with weird rotating eyes sticking out of every part of its ugly body.

Safe to say, it looked disgusting.

No surprise there, though, but it's not going to be that hard to kill.

His skills were upgraded a fair deal, and his stats had increased even more.

So now, all he had to do was keep hitting the elite monster until it died.

"Seryn, can you just stand by in the back for the ti being? I want to deal with this thing on my own," Rael said, earning a nod from Seryn in response.

"Suit yourself."

With that, Rael prepared himself and took a few steps forward, until finally, he was around 35 ters away from the abomination.

Despite its many eyes, he could tell it was blind, so without even wasting a single mont, he decided to pull out the big guns right from the start.

Two massive storms appeared right on top of the abomination, swirling in opposite directions, and surprisingly not canceling each other out.

But of course, the abomination didn't stand there and wait for the attack to chip away at its health.

With its massive body, it began taking steady steps forward, seemingly not affected by the slowness of the storm.

However, before it could leave the storm, Rael pulled out his Violin Blade and focused.

He had always only thought of one elent while hitting the string with his rapier.

Fire.

But what if he thought outside the box?

His Frostfire Tempest skill was able to take chunks of HP out of enemies, so why couldn't his Violin Blade do the sa?

Fuck it... doesn't hurt to try... Rael thought, and in the very next mont, imagined a raging fla.

At the sa ti, he gave the fla an effect to literally shred the HP of anything it hit.

And in the very next instant, a completely red note flew out, heading straight for the abomination.

However, that effect he was expecting never showed up in the note, and soon, it made contact with the monster.

The damage was amplified by 5 tis instead of 3... Rael pondered, watching as the abomination staggered back.

Funnily enough, flas worked surprisingly well against its black goo, since it turned out to be highly flammable.

But he wouldn't settle with this.

The monster had billions of HP, and he wasn't about to fight it for hours.

Obviously, his Frostfire Tempest was putting in the work, but he wouldn't be able to see its damage until 25 seconds later.

Until then, he had to try again.

-3,341,429! Critical True Note! (1x Crystal Violin Blade)

And again.

-3,922,008! Critical True Note! (1x Crystal Violin Blade)

That's more than 5 tis the damage... My skill is definitely increasing, but now, I need to put all of this shit into a good attack.

After all...

Here goes nothing... Rael took a deep breath and once again imagined a fla.

Just this ti, instead of adding sothing onto it, he decided to rge it together.

The innate ability to deal flat % HP damage, as well as the attribute of flas, all in one.

And the mont his rapier touched the red string, a sound unlike any other rang out.

It was soothing, but if he focused on the sound, it almost felt like he'd be cut.

And of course, the note, which was previously red, now had a tinge of silver to it.

The note flew into the two storms, and in the very next instant, a vibrant silver fla burst outward, combining itself with the two storms and causing them to rapidly speed up their swirling speed.

At the sa ti, the colors of both the swirling storms and the ice particles turned silver, flying rampantly, until finally, the storms dissipated slightly ahead of schedule.

But it wasn't because they were canceled. Instead...

-517,236,000! Critical True Note! [15% HP Damage] (1x Crystal Violin Blade)

-12,255,899! Critical True Note! (1x Crystal Violin Blade)

-105,763,000! Critical Hit! (2x Frostfire Tempest)

-2,413,768,000! True Burning Damage! [70% HP Damage] (2x Frostfire Tempest)

Aha... Rael held back a laugh at this crazy amount of damage.

He had managed to push the Crystal Violin Blade to its limits, which was a good thing, sure.

But there was one issue.

—Plague Abomination (Commander Class Elite) [Level 202] [388,151,935/3,448,240,000] ( 1,000,000,000)

That thing was still alive, and...

So I either cast a few storms and kill this thing or... Rael trailed off, a grin appearing on his face.

[MP -1,500,000 759,000/3,429,600 (x1 Crystal Genesis)]

I wonder if that abomination has balls?
