Capítulo 898: Altros And lissa

The mont they reappeared, Rael was imdiately greeted with a much more advanced Seoul than he was initially expecting. There were flying cars, flying trains, and even dozens of holograms scattered all around the city.

It was straight out of so cyberpunk sci-fi, and this was exactly the type of style that Rael liked. It was just that… Did this world really advance that much in such a short period of ti? Was that even possible?

“Karina might be one of the few people that made this change happen,” Gaia chid in. “For one, her special skill relied on passive strengthening. That usually evolves into so sort of base-building type of skill, and while I don’t want to make too many assumptions, there’s a very big chance this city belongs to her.”

Rael glanced around, then shrugged. “I doubt it. I feel like instead of ads, there would be dozens of idol billboards, or more music playing throughout the city.”

After all, it was one of her dreams to own an idol company, or rather, any kind of music company. So for the city to be filled with nothing but sirens and so occasional shouts from unsatisfied people… Though Rael assud most of the shouting and screaming originated from the nightclubs.

Still…

“This is pretty neat.”

“That’s it? I thought you’d act like a fangirl once you saw a city like this,” Gaia said plainly.

Rael chuckled. “Well, I would’ve, but my city back in the Dralgur Continent is much bigger and better. I don’t care about sothing like this. Oh also, rember that world I had entered when I went to rescue you? What happened to it?”

For one, Rael rembered helping out the little Rael in that world, and also checking in on the rest of his family. Right… He had also killed the hospital director and replaced him with a very good friend of his.

Gaia thought it over for a mont, then nodded.

“That world still exists within Yggdrasil. Without being there, the results of how the world would unfold are unknown, but I can assure you that it does exist. I can even lead you there, lad, if you want.”

Rael gave her a smile. “I’d love that.”

Finally, the two of them decided to do so quick exploring before moving on to eting Altros and lissa.

For one, Rael was amused by how well the food was made here. It was so delicious that he felt like establishing a personal connection to this place, so whenever he bought premade food from the Premium Shop, he would yoink it from this place.

Obviously, Rael decided not to do that, as he could just co here and eat instead. Though he might or might not hire a chef or two to cook in his own city.

It’s always good to have competent people. I don’t want so shitty cook to ruin my reputation.

Though he’d need hundreds, if not thousands, of brilliant cooks. This current Earth only had around 10 billion people, so maybe it really was possible.

Welp.

“The clothing sucks though. What’s with mass-produced rag dogshit,” Rael remarked, trying to inspect so clothes, only to accidentally rip them. Was there so scarcity of materials here?

In two decades, hadn’t they realized how to leave their own planet?

Hmm…

Sothing was a little bit strange here, Rael just couldn’t tell what.

“I think when you walk into a single Trell store expecting gold is when you should put on glasses, Rael,” Gaia said from the side and pointed at the sign. “Low-quality clothes ready to be discarded. Yeah… No wonder their quality is bad.”

“So I can’t read. I see,” Rael replied with a hum. “Welp. I have plenty of clothes already, so it doesn’t matter. Let’s go now.”

With that, he grabbed Gaia by the hand, and in the next instant, he teleported across the world, reappearing in Greenland.

Unlike Seoul, Greenland was far more abandoned, but there were a lot of portals scattered around, signifying the ergence of dungeons. As for the reason Rael had arrived here, it was because he felt a familiar presence.

Rather, that person wasn’t here anymore, but they were here not too long ago. Maybe a few minutes, or hours at most. The person was none other than Altros.

lissa… She was also here, sowhat? Rael could definitely feel her presence, but it was more faint than Altros’s. It was almost like she had gone in first, and then he ran in after her.

Was this so kind of bad on? Rael most definitely didn’t have a great feeling about this. When he turned to Gaia, it was clear she had the sa idea.

“I think we should enter,” she said.

Rael nodded. “Definitely. Which one though? There are thousands of these portals all around here.”

Obviously, he could do this the hard way and just carefully navigate every single strand of mana here until he found it.

Or he could just enter his Prophetic Realm and turn back ti a little.

And that was exactly what Rael chose to do, as in the next instant, he turned back ti in his Prophetic Realm, revealing Altros’s figure. He was much more buff than he had last seen, and of course, he entered one purple portal in particular that seed to be much more dangerous than the rest.

Once Rael got out of the realm, the first thing he did was make sure there weren’t any other forces watching over him. The last thing he wanted was for there to be so powerful being he had never even co across watching him, ready to strike.

There weren’t.

So instead of worrying any further, Rael descended in front of the portal and alongside Gaia, the two of them stepped through.

The teleportation was quick, not resembling anything of what a portal would normally feel like. It was more like a gateway, maybe?

The feeling was just too odd to explain.

And even more odd was the sight inside the dungeon, which even caused Rael’s eyes to widen.
