Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 901: Remember?
"No."
She glanced up at Rael.
"Ever since the last ti I saw you, I had so weird mories floating back into my mind. I want you to be the one to confirm those mories."
Hmm?
"So you do rember , then?" Rael asked, puzzled. "What's all that about? I thought you said you didn't."
It didn't sound like she was lying either, since Rael didn't feel anything go off.
What was she doing, exactly?
"What kind of questions are you talking about?" Rael asked plainly.
She paused for a mont, and then said:
"I rember you were inside my Mind Realm a very, very long ti ago. What did we talk about, and why can't I rember anything?"
Noticing how the situation was slightly spiraling out of control, Gaia decided to chi in:
"It's none of your business, for starters. Also... you're likely overthinking things. Had you actually t him, you would've rembered who he was right away."
Yeah...
The mont she said those words, all hell broke loose as lissa began denying everything, and Gaia kept trying to convince her otherwise. Rael couldn't step into the conversation at all, making it evident that they would never really get down to the main source of the problem.
But alas, there wasn't anything that any of them could do. For one, Rael was most definitely not in the mood to reveal the conversation they had inside her Mind Realm, mainly because it now turned out to be fake.
He wasn't really Rael Altros. That glory belonged to the Supre Beast, who was likely busy getting frisky with his wife he hadn't seen in so very long.
As for Rael, he was just a nobody. Soone who started existing from nothing in particular. But then again, as many coincidences as there were, Rael felt like his birth was not a coincidence.
But whether or not he was going to find the reason why he ca into existence before his death, he was uncertain.
Therefore, he just relaxed and let the won deal with his problems until eventually, it seed like Gaia had enough. She approached lissa, and without a single strand of hesitation, she whacked her over the back of her neck.
She couldn't even react in ti before she fell lifelessly to the ground, her consciousness gone in an instant. Altros, who saw all of this from the side, felt like whacking Gaia back, but to be honest... his self-preservation skills were a little bit too high-level for him to try biting off more than he could chew.
So like the good boy that he was, he decided to just stay in his lane and calmly pick up his sister, toss her over his shoulder like she was a sack of potatoes. Afterwards, he just nodded at the two of them.
"As much as I'd like to beat the shit out of you two, I feel like you'd beat my ass instead. Now what though? Should I take her back?"
Rael paused for a mont and pondered over it. "Eh... I don't know. You can probably stay if you want. I don't really care. There's a city I need to get back to, and so other stuff I need to check out. Plus, my wives are waiting very patiently right now, so I don't want to overstep my... I guess, luck?"
Otherwise, he won't get the foreplay he so desperately wanted.
Ahem...
"Then can I have so free food? Also, give a job so I can get even more money. I heard you're rich or sothing from all your followers, so I ought to take a little bite out of the pie, right?" Altros chuckled. "After all, I am technically you, aren't I?"
Yes, and no.
Well...
Rael wasn't against giving this guy a job. After all, with his current wealth, he could probably solve world hunger in millions of worlds at once. Plus, it wasn't like there was an abundance of janitors in his new city, so Altros could freely beco the best janitor there.
Heh.
Welp.
With that in mind, Rael decided to just leave it as is. So of course, Rael went ahead and simply enveloped Altros in his mana before abruptly teleporting to Celestara.
Gaia reappeared a mont later, and of course... while Rael wasn't expecting much, Celestara had also undergone a great change.
Soone went ahead and added even more mountainside elevators. More importantly, soone had excavated a big ass chunk of the city and made it even bigger. Sohow, they managed to do it without ssing with the integrity of the crater itself, pretty much making it a nice extension.
But that wasn't all that Celestara had to offer, as most of its facilities were upgraded by leaps and bounds. There was a decent chunk of technology, and none of it ca from electricity. Rather, it was purely Mana Stones and whatever else the trio of elven ladies managed to co up with.
In short, this world had undergone a massive change, and it looked even more overwhelming when Rael glanced up. He was sure that he had only funded a portion of the massive city, and it was nowhere near as massive as what it looked like now.
Who funded it, exactly?
[I have a faint suspicion that it might've been Nyzzara,] Gaia chid in. [She's as rich as you, if not a little richer. You should honestly start using the computer she has, because the money potential is very alluring.]
"You think so, huh?" Rael mused. "Well... if it really was Nyzzara, then I'll have to thank her. Though, just how much did she invest for the city to grow this much? Didn't I already invest a tric fuck ton?"
He pondered over it but couldn't quite co up with the number.
But what better way to find out than to ask the person herself?
She was currently in the Barbarian Lands, rely relaxing in the sa tent she had all those years ago.
Yeah...
He should ask her.
Rael turned to Altros and gave him a thumbs up.
"Control your sister and look around. See you in a bit."
