Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 947 947: Fisherman
Rael shrugged. "I don't see why not. Kill him. I'll buy his mories."
The mont Rael said those words, Ren stopped hesitating. He picked up a nearby axe, and without a hint of rcy, he brought it down across Altieri's neck, killing him in an instant and causing his mana to co out in bursts.
It looked very simple, yet the destructiveness behind this single move made Rael's jaw nearly drop in awe. Still, Rael snapped out of it and then bought the man's identity.
—You can now buy the identities of the forgotten!
Altieri Denarian: Short golden hair, blue eyes. Opportunistic and evil personality.
Information: A simple human who had transcended humanity's shackles and began fishing in the most vast sea, the cosmos. Having affiliated himself with like-minded individuals, he went ahead and sought entry into the realm where all the Concepts reside, only to be caught and captured. His death is one that he wasn't able to keep sacred, as his identity will soon be defiled by ???.
Identity cost: 1,244,022,944,298 Premium Coins
"Damn. This is really expensive," Rael said out loud, then let out a sigh.
Hearing that, Ren went ahead and tapped him on the shoulder. "How much is it?"
"I'm not sure if you have my currency, but it's 1,244,022,944,298 Premium Coins."
Before Rael could even process what was happening, his pockets suddenly felt more full.
< 1,244,022,944,298 Premium Coins>
"There you go. Go buy the identity now," Ren said with a chuckle.
Rael just sighed at how nonchalant these rich people were. Then he went ahead and bought the identity. In the next instant, an array of mories invaded Rael's mind, and unlike the ones he had gotten from people like the Eternal Dream and the ones from Renoir's ti, these mories went even further back.
So far back, in fact, that Rael could see several dozen eons pass in the blink of an eye, followed by this man constantly getting stronger and stronger, fishing in the cosmos, and then eventually finding a few people that were from the faction going against the Concepts.
Naturally, he joined them, and his first mission was simple. All he needed to do was continue fishing and hope to find so kind of fish that knew sothing about the realm where all the Concepts were.
It was a stupid idea to Rael, but it was surprisingly effective, as by fishing in locations where the Abyss had once theoretically existed, he was able to catch fish that had so heritage in the Abyss, thus giving him the information he needed to eventually find a hole into the Abyss.
He also surprisingly entered the Abyss himself, and then left it after not finding anything. That was perhaps the most impressive feat of them all, since Rael rembered how big of a hassle the Abyss was.
It was just that Renoir was able to control it very easily, which made it seem like it wasn't a big deal. On that note, was Renoir a part of the faction going against the Concepts? He did hate the High Gods, so there was definitely a very high possibility.
Rael would just need to ask him next ti.
Until then, Rael focused on the mories, trying to find sothing interesting for himself aside from the entrance to the Abyss. Honestly... There wasn't much. This guy had a lot of fishing knowledge, way more than any other being in existence, most likely.
He was also pretty strong, being able to fight toe to toe with the most powerful in the universe. Though he didn't enjoy fighting much. His passion was literally just fishing. And as one would expect, if soone's passion was fishing for several eons, there wasn't anything Rael could find here that would be useful.
So with that in mind, Rael went ahead and explained everything he found out about this guy. Since there wasn't that much, Rael was done talking in less than 20 minutes.
Definitely shorter than the expected 1-hour tir Ren had given him. Maybe Rael had a knack for 9-to-5s? Maybe he should seek employnt and get so kind of employee-of-the-month bonus?
Heh.
Welp.
Whatever the case may be, once Rael finished, Ren just stood there in silence, contemplating his words. Eventually though, he seed to have co to a decision.
"So in order to seek balance, we need to erase all the fish?"
"Is that what you got from my explanation?" Rael almost facepald. "Well, the fish aren't the problem. It's more like the problem is they don't have a place to stay. Why don't you create so massive enclosure inside the Abyss so they don't float out into the regular universe? I feel like that'd be much more efficient than massacring the fish."
Yeah. Rael found it a little stupid, to be fair. But then again, Ren was most likely venting. There was no way he really wanted to massacre the fish. And judging from his reply, it seed like Rael was right.
"True. Honestly, I'm just a little pissed, because the only reason those fish have that much freedom is because I allowed them to roam freely. Who knew that decision would co back to bite in the ass?"
Letting out a sigh, he turned toward the three of them and nodded. "You guys can relax on the mountain here. No destroying anything and no entering the temple. Aside from that, you may explore whatever you wish until I return."
In the next instant, his figure disappeared without a trace. Rael just stared at the place where he had just been, then sighed.
Turning to Gaia and Nyx, a faint smile appeared on his face.
"He didn't say we couldn't fly around and enter other temples though, did he?"
"..."
Gaia and Nyx facepald, trying their best not to slap the shit out of Rael for his stupidity. Why did he want to get in trouble everywhere he went?
So yeah.
"We're not doing that," the two won said in unison.
