Uriel placed down the chicken and glanced around, a little surprised by how peaceful it was. Deep down, he never expected these two to get along, primarily because of the stories he had heard from Solenne.

She was always honest. So honest, in fact, that he was a little concerned by so of the things she said.

A mass genocide to fill a quota seed like the tast thing she did. In fact, there was once a ti when she accidentally sneezed and wiped out a galaxy. Apparently, there was so sort of galactical flu going around, and so every galaxy she accidentally wiped out, she stole from another universe to replace it.

In turn, that caused a whole paradox of issues, which accidentally wiped out the neighboring universe. Of course, she went ahead and hid the trouble by rging another universe with this one to fill in the gaps.

And as for the universe that was destroyed, she conveniently sent it into the Void Realm, expanding its influence further. Uriel had yet to visit the Void Realm, but by the looks of things, it was very, very large.

So while he did want to visit it one day, he decided to focus on the present, his powerless self.

"Dig in," Uriel said, pointing at the chicken as he sat down beside Solenne. "I made it just today, and stored it inside my dinsional bag... Yes, I did say we'd live a normal life, but having an inventory is a necessity."

Rael rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say. I won't judge."

The chicken looked very dry. So dry, in fact, that Rael could probably use it as sandpaper. Still, he didn't voice his complaints, and instead, Rael went ahead and dug in, slowly eating it. It wasn't that bad. At least it was seasoned.

Solenne and Uriel did seem to enjoy it, though. Perhaps they liked bad food? Well... Rael would cook sothing up one of these days, or teach Uriel how to use the grill. Until then, though, Rael enjoyed his ti at the dinner table, bringing up so of his fights and what he had done in those 20 years that had passed for Uriel.

Obviously, the High Tower wasn't that touchy of a subject for him. Sure, it did hurt that so much ti had passed... But that didn't an he regretted it. The High Tower, as Rael saw it a couple minutes ago, was pretty much in shambles.

After what he did, the compressed universe was still raging on in the top floors, destroying everything. It was impossible to get out now, and all those who tried to stop it did nothing but fuel the attack further.

By his estimations, within a month's ti, the entire High Tower would be eaten up. After all, there weren't any moderators to keep it in check. Even the High Gods stood no chance against that.

Speaking of High Gods... They weren't appointed by Uriel Ark, the sa person who created the system and all these towers. They must've appointed themselves during the ti between Uriel's disappearance and Rael's birth.

At least, that made the most sense. Nonetheless, Rael didn't want to drag the topic on for long, so he just assured Uriel and Solenne that there wouldn't be any more problems, since he planned on taking care of the faction opposing the Concepts right after dinner.

On that topic, he also ntioned that he killed Lucien. Hearing that, Solenne was a little saddened. But her sadness wasn't out of the ordinary. After all, while he might've done a lot of fucked up things, he was still her brother.

A brother who manipulated her and changed her mories... Well, still a brother. Though she didn't seem vengeful. If anything, she didn't seem to care to begin with, as her greatest task in the last couple dozen years was to just carry out his orders blindly.

Him being gone made everything easier. She accepted herself a little more. She didn't need to worry about him getting back inside her mind either... He was a being who could easily do that, after all. He even ssed with Rael's mind that one ti.

Anyhow...

"How's the chicken?" Uriel asked proudly. "Good, right?"

Rael's brow twitched. "Ahem... Yep. It's pretty good. Though you might want to cook it a little less next ti, maybe?"

"Why? We all have very powerful teeth. Chicken that feels rock solid is the best type of chicken, since it also trains our teeth and jaws while eating it," Uriel replied with the biggest pile of bullshit Rael had heard in his millions of years of life.

"So you hate soft food? Do you eat cakes?"

"Ah. We freeze cakes," Uriel replied plainly.

Rael was in disbelief, but right as it seed like Uriel was ssed up in the head, Uriel let out a chuckle.

"So you can't tell when I'm lying. Good. No, don't worry. I'm not ssed up in the head or anything. I simply ssed this chicken up on purpose, since I was curious how you would react."

"..."

Rael let out a sigh.

"Dumbass."

Uriel chuckled once more. "It's not good. I promise I'll make sothing better next ti. Until then, dig in. Oh, here's so pastries too."

With that, even more food landed on the table, and the three of them feasted lively, talking about their lives. Rael didn't think that he would be that interested in Uriel's and Solenne's lives, but he was.

After all, from the looks of things, the two of them fought a lot. They had tried to kill each other multiple tis, but failed. It was one of those enemies-to-lovers types of stories that Rael couldn't help but fangirl over.

But who wouldn't fangirl over that? It was perhaps the greatest trope ever.

Heh.

Regardless of that, the dinner concluded, and Rael volunteered to help out with cleaning the dishes. All the while, he listened in on the conversation between Uriel and Solenne.
