Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster Chapter 991: The Angelic Period
Here’s the passage with grammar fixed:
While Vatyra and Solenne were having a chat, Rael was busy doing absolutely nothing.
He had entered the form where he could see and do everything. After all, he was a bit curious about how the other realities worked. Except there was one very boring caveat in every single one of them.
Each reality had a set of Laws, and all those Laws were the sa. The sa Concepts, and even the sa system of Ambassadors. All in all, if he could, he would spice things up.
But deep down, he felt that if he ssed with the already established order, he would face a very big oopsie. On that note, though, he figured out that the Akashic Records existed in every single reality.
Also, the system was partially the sa as well. All realities had their own systems, or rather, variations of them. There were a few realities that had systems which barely did anything aside from displaying stats.
Growth-wise, they were pretty bad. On that note, there were actually realities where the stats already started from the Specialized Stats state. So even though so people were deed weak in that reality, if they were transferred to one of these realities with just displayable stats, they would be the strongest.
At the end of the day, though, Rael still kept up so of the order.
For example, there were a few troublemakers who traveled the universe and slaughtered people who couldn’t fight back. That was a big no-no in Rael’s book, so he went ahead and de-atomized them, destroying their souls as well.
It was surprising just how many of these idiots there were, and so, no matter how bored Rael was, he was forced to kill at least three of them every minute. It beca a chore, and he kind of wished he could automate it.
However, he very quickly rembered the horror movies where robots took over or so shit. What if he accidentally created a system that deed certain things not allowed, and then began to kill every being who committed a cri?
To be fair, he was against cri, sure. But if littering got soone’s soul obliterated, then that was a shitty thing to do. So until then, Rael decided to treat this as a side quest to pass the ti, until eventually it was ti for the big hour.
The hour where he, Uriel, and Solenne would have dinner. Obviously, he wasn’t that nervous, since it was just dinner. He’d had far more nerve-wracking dinners before.
Even though they weren’t exactly Rael’s true mories, he did rember that in the past, back when he was working for the Yakuza, he had been forced to eat a whole pizza in under a minute.
Safe to say, he shat out a brick that night.
But on the bright side, he got a free pizza.
Heh.
Anyhow, Rael reappeared in his human form, put on so casual clothes, and made sure he looked perfect. His hair by now was a bit odd. It had started out as platinum, but now it was golden, platinum, dark silver, and even black. The tips were mostly black.
As for his general body shape, he looked like soone who had practiced calisthenics for two decades. So in short, he looked good. He was tall to boot. It was a great combination of looks, height, and size in places where it mattered.
But that was enough buttering himself up. With a single thought, he reappeared on Uriel’s world. It was now nightti, and it was relatively peaceful. There were no bad people, nor was there so sort of group running around searching for Uriel and Solenne.
It was nice.
Yet right as Rael was about to blink into Uriel’s living room, he spotted another figure there. It was Vatyra. She had talked all that shit, just to turn around and show up to the dinner anyway. Honestly, Rael felt like he had been pranked.
Did she hate him that much? Well, not like he cared. He had been taught that caring for others for no good reason was a shitty way to live life. And so, without much more thought, he reappeared in front of Uriel’s door and knocked quietly, so as not to wake the neighbors.
After a brief mont, Solenne ca to the door and opened it, a slight smile on her face.
"I’m glad you were able to make it. I also hope you don’t mind that Vatyra is here."
Rael shook his head. "It’s fine. I’m not the vengeful type. On that note, Uriel seems to have an illness. He has sothing in his lungs."
"Ah, that’s an angelic disease," Solenne replied. "He had this before, but it went away for a bit. It’s like — the best way I can explain it — it’s akin to a period."
"My son has periods?" Rael deadpanned.
Solenne shook her head and facepald. "Every decade, Uriel’s body manifests a portion of his true form. It’s a form where he’s just a ball of mass, and he aimlessly wanders for a bit before returning to normal."
That didn’t sound very normal.
"And when is this going to happen?" Rael asked.
"Soon. Next week at the earliest, and next month at the latest," she replied. Not wanting him to worry further, she gestured for him to enter, and so he did, making his way to the living room where a giant dining table sat in the middle.
Around it sat Uriel and Vatyra. Uriel, in particular, was especially happy, and Vatyra didn’t even glance at Rael. She clearly had so grudge against him, so without wanting to dig into it further, Rael went ahead and sat down at the table as well.
After a few minutes, Solenne ca back out, holding several trays of food like a professional waitress. Once she set the trays down, she sat down quietly.
It was a bit awkward, to be fair.
But like the social butterfly he was, Rael opted to be the one to start the conversation.
