"Alright, I have had enough."
One of the two said it out loud as he gritted his teeth.
Fire elental energy surrounded his body and as soon as he shot it, the whole barrier was full of red hot flas.
The Mansion, the black pillar, all of the bees and even the undead. Everything is covered with flas and when it finally settled, all the bees are gone. The undead corpses are laying on the floor in flas.
The mansion is also on fire and half of it disappeared in the form of molten rock.
The person looked at his partner and said.
"I am sorry. I cannot hold back. Those bees are fucking annoying."
The partner looked at him with a sigh. The only thing that is left completely intact is, him and the pillar because he protected the pillar.
"What the fuck is wrong with you? Do you really think, I wouldn't be able to do that? We were asked to collect fucking evidence and you almost destroyed everything."
"Well, you saved the pillar, didn't you? What are you complaining about?"
"Fuck you."
He didn't even want to talk to his hot-headed partner anymore and pulled out the pillar from the ground.
But as soon as he did that, he felt like he got hit by sothing and stumbled just for a bit.
"What's wrong?"
His partner asked, but he just shook his head and stored the pillar away in his storage.
"Let's see if we can salvage these deadbodies, their death is a bit weird, even though you burned them to crisp, we can still try to get sothing out of it."
Both of them went to store the burning deadbodies after putting their fire up. They cleaned them up quickly, but when one of them is about to put up the last one, the corpse moved.
He was caught off guard and the corpse bit deeply into his arm.
He instinctually punched the corpse in the face and tried to get rid of it.
But the corpse bit into him so hard that so of his flesh was torn off before it could co off.
He beca pissed and burned the corpse again until it completely turned into ashes.
"What the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you so eager to burn everything down? Are you a fucking arsonist all of a sudden?"
His partner once again got angry.
"Co on, man. Look at this. I got bit by that thing. What do you expect to do?"
"I don't even want to argue with you. Let's get out of here."
Both of them finished the collection and after so efforts broke the barrier before walking out of the city.
The man who got his arm bit looked at it and frowned.
"What happened now?"
His partner asked.
"It is just a bit weird. I don't feel the pain anymore."
"Maybe it doesn't hurt as much as you claid it did."
"That's not it, I felt the pain before, but it is gradually going off."
"Whatever. Just ignore it. If I were you, I would be more worried about what that black substance is on that flesh wound. Losing pain is a good thing, but what is that."
The partner checked the wound and carefully took the black substance off.
"I think is part of those burned lips. I might have been left behind when I punched the corpse."
"Clean it up and take so dicine. We will go on my beast. You can rest on the way."
"Sure."
Both of them climbed onto a beast and made their way toward the captured city.
As the person who got his flesh bit off took the dicine, he could see the wound closing up. But he is still a bit troubled as he couldn't feel any pain on the spot. He felt that it is extrely weird.
anwhile, the other pairs are also not really having a good ti.
In one city, they directly went for the pillar before they even searched the whole building and after the bees ca, one of them used a wind elent to create a circulating wind barrier that kept the bees at bay while the other stored the pillar inside.
The first one imdiately increased the velocity of the wind and forced the bees into the mansion while the currents destroyed so of them.
The second one started attacking the barrier, trying to destroy the whole thing.
It didn't take long for them to break out of that barrier. They boarded their beasts and got ready to take off.
At this mont, they sensed so really negative energy coming from the side and before they knew it, a bunch of undead creatures broke through the mansion walls and jumped at the beasts.
The undead creatures looked weird, they didn't look normal. Their hair and eyes are completely black and so kind of black vapoured smoke is coming out of them.
The bodies turned grey. Their mouths are emitting so black goo from the corner.
They started biting into the beasts and also tried to fight the two partners.
They retaliated imdiately and started attacking the undead creatures.
"Why the fuck are they so strong?"
The first one asked.
"How the fuck am I supposed to know that?"
The second one retorted as they fought the undead back.
The first one got bit by one of them while he was fighting, but he realized it didn't even hurt that much. It barely stung.
He felt weird, but he didn't have ti to think too much about it and just continued to fight.
They finished off the undead and got back onto their injured beasts as they went towards the Captured city.
Similar situations happened in the remaining two places. Either one or two of those people felt so weird painlessness as they got bit by these creatures.
They don't know exactly what happened, but they didn't have ti to care.
They just directly went to the captured city.
All of them reached the vicinities of the captured city at the sa ti.
But as soon as they entered, they felt extrely shocked.
The scene that was in front of their eyes, is sothing that they couldn't have even imagined in their whole lifeti.
A few mile radii around the captured city looked completely dead. All of the trees and vegetation were withered to debris. The soil beca loose and devoid of any moisture that it could have possibly held.
They couldn't sense a single spiritual energy particle in the air.
The first pair that arrived there looked at the situation and didn't even want to enter that radius.
"What the fuck is this?
This is like a desert. But instead of water, it is devoid of spiritual energy.
Who did such a thing?"
"The question is, how did they do that? Not who did it. We already know who did it."
"That's true. It seems like the fears of the clan's leader are true. If whatever they used to make this happen really fell into Grand Elder's hands, he wouldn't be able to sleep for days."
"Of course, he wouldn't."
As they talked, they slowly walked into the area. They didn't move as fast as before and neither did they use their beasts. They walked into the area and looked at the massive energy barrier do far away.
When they reached a spot where they could get a clear view of the city, they could see the carriers in their full view.
"So, what do we do next?"
"Wait for the other teams to reach the range of our communication. We will only make a move after that."
They waited there for an hour before they finally got the communication link.
"Team 1 is here. We have a situation though. We cannot sense any spiritual energy in the surroundings and stay here is a bit draining. The change is not too much, but it is not a good place to battle."
"Team 2 is here. We are also in a similar situation."
"Team 3 reporting. Sa situation."
"Team 4 reporting. Sam situation."
One of the two mbers of Team 1 who is currently an acting leader and is responsible for executing all of the orders, spoke up.
"We need to deal with the city as fast as we can. Did everyone bring their share of evidence?"
"Yes."
"Keep it safe. We are going to launch an attack on the four things that are in the four directions of the city. We are going to attack them all at the sa ti and destroy them.
Go with full power. Don't hold back.
I believe that the four machines are the key here. We are going to destroy it before they could even act."
"We are good with that. So, when are we making a move?"
"In three minutes.
Exactly three minutes and the attacks should land.
Be careful. You are not to be spotted in between. We cannot let them get a chance to prepare."
