While all the soldiers are being treated, Sam and Gail are currently standing in a room with four beds occupied by Gamin, Yuvana, Saran, and the Elite team leader.
Gamin and Yuvana are injured severely. They are also pretty exhausted. Their wounds are also not healing as fast as they should.
Compared to them Saran and the Elite team leader are pretty well off.
"I told you guys not to jump in rashly. Look at what happened now?"
Gail said in a reprimanding tone.
"Who knew those bastards will have so many Divine Blood tokens? We were caught off guard. Anyway, I am pretty sure we are the winners of that exchange anyway."
Gamin said as he gulped down another potion.
Gail shook his head in resignation and Yuvana didn't even bother to speak.
"What are these Divine Blood tokens exactly? Are they reason for the wounds do not heal quickly?"
Sam asked.
"Divine Blood Tokens are made from the Blood Essence of Divine Plane beings. They contain the special energy that only belongs to the Divine stage beings and when used in conjunction with normal spiritual energy attacks they really work wonders.
That special energy will be mixed with the attack and it will cause a lot more damage.
It is extrely torturous as the blood of those beings completely corrupts and overwhelms every cell of normal beings.
So of the Peak stage Astral Plane Consummate cultivators use these to train so that they can have a chance to break through to Divine Plane.
They try to absorb the Essence from this blood to make their body get used to that new Divine energy they are going to get.
But the more they use it, the lesser their growth curve would be. They might be able to break through to the Divine Plane a bit easier, but they would be sacrificing so of their potentials in the process and their Divine energy wouldn't be as poor.
Most people like us, don't use it for that reason and that is why our bodies are not used to this. This causes so serious damage.
It is an extrely expensive thing. I didn't expect them to make a move using a whole lot of these things. We were really caught off guard."
"So, how are these two going to be?"
Sam said as he pointed at Yuvana and Gamin.
Both of them have so many bruises all over their body. In fact, too many of them, and all of them have this crimson red hue.
They are definitely injuries that are attached with that essence or whatever that is.
"They will need a few days to get rid of them completely. Even my injuries and Cat will need so ti too."
Gail said with a sigh.
"Well, at least we really did a number on the Divine league mbers. A couple of them are dead, so there is little they can do at the mont since the rest of them are also seriously injured."
"Tsk. Cowards. They escaped in the nick of the ti. Or I would have killed all of them instantly."
Yuvana said as she looked out of the window.
Sam shook his head and walked out of the room with Gail.
"We don't know the exact situation on the other side. So, we cannot let our guards down. Gamin and Yuvana are not fit for the battle for so ti. The other two can be healed at least. I will call in the Clan's leader to take charge and I will put up the special undead creatures that are left at different positions on the wall.
I cannot think of anything else for now.
For any of the further plans, we need the information on how the situation is on another side.
Our forces also suffered a bit. The only silver lining is that there are not as many deaths as they are on another side.
We didn't lose too many in terms of numbers.
The worst part about that is most deaths are caused by the battles of the peak stage cultivators.
I want you guys to tone down a bit."
"I wasn't able to do much in the situation before. If we hadn't interfered the loss of life would be way too much. "
"I get it. But try to divert the battles to empty space next ti.
Anyway, please go and recover as fast as you can. Currently, the war is stopped. We need to do as much damage control as we can and recover as much manpower as we can."

Gail nodded and went back inside.
anwhile back in the Mari clan's quarters, a different kind of eting is happening.
Sivan looked at Avlyn and the group and spat on the floor.
"How fucking dare you? How dare you put my forces in jeopardy?
You dared to break the unspoken rules of the war?
I would have lost every single soldier I had under my control."
"Why are you freaking out? Gail and his brother are way too prideful to stoop as low as us."
"Yeah? Really? That bastard Sam is not. He might be prideful, but he always pays back in dear. He ordered the subordinates to kill indiscriminately. I lost thirty percent of my forces just from that massacre.
And your fight in the middle of soldiers killed another ten percent.
Another ten percent are dead from the beasts and the energy beams.
I lost half of the forces in one proper exchange with them and if I calculate the loss of each expert that is equipped with special equipnt which could only be operated by them, then the losses are way too much.
The one ti you actually made a move, you made the situation a purgatory. You don't know how much loss you have cost ."

Avlyn said through her gritted teeth. But as soon as she did, almost a dozen wounds opened up on her body as she spat out so blood.
"There is not a single thing you did right today and you are trying to show your domination on ."
Sivan yelled back and looked at the group crazily.
Not a single divine league mber is in a fighting state at the mont. They are all injured, exhausted and so people are almost unconscious.
"You better figure this out. I don't want to lose another bunch of my soldiers and waste my resources just because of your stupid and cowardly sches."
"Who do you think you are calling a coward, you little brat?"
One of the subordinates of Divine league yelled as he tried to recover the large slash on his abdon.
"Compared to your opponents, you are nothing but cowards. You had to use two kids hostage, then you had to stoop to using soldiers as hostages and on top of that, you ganged up and used all kinds of petty tricks or whatever those divine blood tokens are up to.
You are but pieces of incompetent shit that are trying to prove that you are stronger and more important than you actually are.
I know I am a roguish bastard that I use all kinds of underlying tricks completely underhanded that is only suitable for the scum of the scum on this land and even I wouldn't just use my soldiers as you did.
You shaless and classless cunts."
Sivan left after ranting for a while.
After that, there is a long silence within the room.
Avlyn took three potions before she was able to stand up and walk. She looked at her subordinates and said.
"There is not a single thing that went according to our problem
We lost too much. So of us died. Only six of us can even recover and fight. The rest are wasted.
The grand elders of the Mari clan are also seriously injured.
The tactics that were used until now are gone. We cannot use them again.
We are shifting to Plan B."
"Plan B? Are you sure Avlyn? Things are not going to be easy with that. The Divine league will be stretched thin.

"But we have no other choice. The estimation of strength on Gamin and Yuvana was way off and there is another peak stage creature.

We are in so deep trouble with this situation. If we back down now, we would be giving Gail a chance to recover and hunt us down individually."
