The soldiers of the Mari clan along with the Grand elders retreated.
The grand elders guarded the rear as they are worried that the sphere cannons and energy beams will be attacking them. More than that, they are worried that a peak stage cultivator from the Gaja clan will attack them.
After all, one of the grand elders just broke the unspoken rules again.
He attacked Sam to release Sivan.
The only silver lining for that situation is that the Grand elder knew that his attack would be too much and there is a chance that Sivan might also die, and toned it down.
This helped Sam escape with so injuries.
But still an attack is an attack nevertheless.
Even though the grand elders of the Mari clan are extrely reluctant to make such a move, they just couldn't let Sivan die. He is way too valuable as an asset to the clan for them to let him die in the battlefield.
So, they are extrely cautious, as they awaited the consequences of their actions.
But the consequences didn't co in the way that they thought they would. As they are moving forward a rift appeared in the space above the soldiers and a large crystal ca out.
It is the rhombohedral poison crystal. One of the cores of the poison tower.
It fell freely towards the soldiers and one of the grand elders tried to attack it and destroy it before that could happen.
But that is his biggest mistake. Even before he could land the blow, just the wind pressure that was created by that attack made the crystal unstable and made it explode.
*BOOM*
A large green poisonous cloud covered the grand elders who are walking in the air as well as the soldiers below them. So of the injured soldiers instantly fell to the ground. The poison just seeped into their body and they couldn't even resist it.
It is so potent and powerful.
Even the soldiers who are completely unscathed fell victim. They felt like their lungs were set on fire as they ran forward to be out of that zone.
As for Grand elders, the effect is not as severe as the rest of the soldiers, but it is extrely potent an they also felt the effects of it.
But even if they felt the effects of it, they don't have any choice other than moving forward.
As soon as they covered few more ters, the situation changed again. Another rift opened in theair and this ti a dark black crystal with black fus dropped from it.
Another grand elder decided to take the lead and blocked the crystal with an energy barrier, but to his back luck, the crystal exploded as soon as it t with the barrier and even broke it down completely.
The black smoke spread amongst all the soldiers and the Grand elders as they felt the curses spreading through all of them. They felt like their blood is burning and the bones are being subjected to imnse heat.
Their flesh felt like it is being pricked by millions of needles all at the sa ti.
But that is not the end. The rift didn't close and two special undead creatures dropped from it. The undead creatures directly went for the grand elders while glowing with weird energy.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
Massive explosions occurred as the grand elders took the full force of it. Two grand elders fell from the sky instantly and as they hit the ground white crystals started spreading from their wounds.
Another grand elder took the lead and led them soldiers to move forward even though more than half of them are suffering severely. But as they moved forward, the ground felt weird. They couldn't put their finger on it.
But soon they managed to point it out.
It is the white crystal shards on the ground. They just stabbed themselves into their feet and started spreading in their legs. Of course, not all of them are that unlucky.
The unluckiest ones are the ones that are already injured and are heavily affected by the poison. Their bodies' natural resistance has decreased by a lot and they are in an extrely weakened state which led the imdiate growth of the white crystal.
It didn't even take that much ti before it made them unable to move.
The group could only move forward though.
As they moved closer to the camp, the attacks kept on increasing. The rifts opened and either the undead with special explosions or the crystals are popping out making it impossible for them to escape unscathed.
While the Mari clan's troops are suffering more than they did in the entire war combined, Sivan who arrived at the Mari clan is also currently struggling.
At this mont, he has multiple fractures and too many physical injuries that are bleeding profusely. He has way too many injuries and it is even hard for him to breath properly.
He took out so potions and pills as he swallowed them. It hurt his throat to do it, but he forced them down and let them do their work.
He stayed on the ground for over ten minutes, before he could even breath properly. At least the pain is sowhat bearable now.
He took so more dicine and used his light elental energy as well as the natural regeneration to increase his recovery speed.
He toiled and struggled on the floor for a few minutes, before he could even stand up properly. After finally standing up, he looked around the room.
This is the special tent that Avlyn was talking about. Apart from the hidden pillar under the ground that acted as a beacon for his transference, there are so other pieces of equipnt around the tent that are specially prepared for this mont. He was about to activate them.
But at this mont, Avlyn and her team mbers ca in.
"You are back? It seems like you are beaten black and blue. Your soldiers are suffering. Do you have any plan to save them?"
Sivan looked surprised. He walked out and used a telescope to take a look. He felt troubled. There is only one way he could think of and he was going to use it anyway. But the destruction it causes is making hesitate a bit.
"Are you guys going to make your move? You said you are about to make a move right?"
"Of course we are doing it. But our spatial elental user said that the current attacks might be traps of Gaja clan. Waiting for your forces to retreat is actually helpful."
"Bastards, you are using my soldiers as bait again?"
"We have to do what we have to do. Anyway, if you have no plan, then let them co. We will take our sweet ti while dealing with them. Since Gail and Sonic cat are exhausted, we still have a good chance of dealing with them.

With that, the Divine league mbers left.
Sivan gritted his teeth in anger and with all of the pent up injuries he had, his body couldn't take it and spat out a mouthful of blood.
"You bastards. How dare you use and my soldiers like this. Divine league, my father told not to trust you guys and you have proven his words right ti and again. There is no way I will let you guys win though.
You ca for sothing from Gaja clan, I will destroy that. I will destroy all of the Gaja clan and wouldn't let you have anything."
After he spoke, he went on to assemble the equipnt.
They are six turrets that are aid at the sky and all of them are pointing towards the Gaja city. They are placed in certain positions creating a hexagon. Sivan started loading them with the crystal cylinders full of spiritual energy poison.
After loading them, he sat down in the middle of the formation and closed his eyes. He prepared the turrets to shoot.
He would have felt better if they can be shot in an instant. But too bad, his strength is not there yet. He is too weak to activate it instantly in his current state.
His troops are nearing the camp while he is preparing for the attack.
But at the sa ti, Senior Elder Ma is also doing sothing else. He took out one last space jade and smiled.
"To think that you will put the most dangerous weapon in a re space jade. You have no fear whatsoever."
He smiled as he directed the space jade to the formation nearby. He carefully operated the space jade remotely as it threw out small missiles out of it one by one that hovered over the formation.
As he was doing it, he looked at his subordinates.
"Is the evacuation done?"
"It is almost done sir. Ninety percent of soldiers are done. All the clan mbers are gone. The kids are moved to the stray dinsion."
"That is good. You guys also start your process. I need the timing to be perfect. Not a single person should be hurt in this exchange. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Sir."
