The poison Noah deposited didn't just act as so deterrent. When the targets are nearing it, a bunch of vines popped out of them and went after the targets.
This made them go back and stick within the periter.
After noticing that her deterrent moves are working. Noah relaxed a bit and reduced the number of vines circling the periter to just three.
She spent a lot of energy in this move and he is almost nearing her last legs.
That is why she reduced the vines and now she can extend her ti a bit more.
She started pointing the direction to both Noah and Arkiv.
Spears and arrows are making their way toward certain points. The force of these attacks is adjusted so that they will reach the appropriate depth within the ground to reach the targets.
But not a single attack connected no matter what they did.
Sam and the targets are skilled enough to defend themselves within the ground.
But they still managed to make it hard for Sam to catch the targets. Right when he was about to catch these targets, an explosive spear or an arrow appeared making him dodge or block the attack. Either way, the targets are finding a gap to escape.
Sam thought of sothing and was about to change his approach, but before he could do that, he noticed that the attacks stopped from above.
He spread out his spiritual energy to check what is happening and he was surprised to say the least.
At this mont, the final marked target actually sneaked up on the three players and attacked Arkiv from behind.
Arkiv wasn't able to sense his presence until he was almost hit, but he managed to react in ti to block the attack at the last mont.
Kumar noticed this and threw his spear toward the target.
Sam didn't expect that the target will co and attack the players at this mont.
He spread his senses a bit more and noticed that Akhil just arrived in a ragged state.
"This fucker. If only I could use my full strength. I would have fucking killed you."
He spoke out loud as he used all of his remaining energy to finish off the marked target.
Sam chuckled in amusent, but the two targets that are on the ground thought he was absent-minded and made a move against him.
The earth around them started manipulating itself into a structure. Within a mont Sam noticed that the soil on top of him was gone and a cylindrical tunnel to the top was created, before he could make sense of what is happening, he felt the gravitational force acting in reverse around him.
He was launched through the tunnel to the surface.
He was caught off guard a bit, but he braced himself and got ready to launch a counter, but while he was still in that tunnel, all of a sudden sharp spike popped out of the tunnel walls, leaving a few physical injuries on his chest.
His coat managed to block the rest, but his exposed chest was filled with gashes.
But that is not all. He noticed that a large snake made of soil and rocks followed him through that tunnel and when he was shot into the air, it followed and crashed into him with a spike on top of its head.
Sam barely managed to dodge it and caught hold of that spike, landing on top of the snake's head.
The snake head, morphed itself into a tube opening, through which Sam fell.
A weird suction force caught hold of him, as he slid through the snake's body. Following him was a large gush of extrely sharp but coarse sand which was made by disintegrating the surrounding rocks.
The coarse and sharp sand moved faster than Sam.
Once again, his exposed chest faced the abrasion of it.
Everything is happening at a rapid pace. All of this happened within just a second and a half.
The sand grains, even accumulated within the injuries he suffered on the chest. They tore apart the flesh even more and even tried to penetrate his bloodstream.
Sam was being thrown around and was surprised and impressed at the sa ti. This is an impeccable usage of earth's elental energy and gravitational force.
Sam was being played around like a ball.
But while he was being sandblasted within the snake's body, he stabilized himself. He got rid of the earth elental fusion.
anwhile, the two targets manipulated the snake's body and created a loop through which Sam is currently revolving along with the coarse sand.
They are trying to exhaust and confuse him a bit after a few more rotations, the snake body as once again manipulated so that one end was closed and appeared near the two targets and the remaining open end was aid at a small formation of the second target set up.
The formation is a combination of the gravitational force, aid to rip Sam apart.
The sandblasting would have opened multiple wounds on Sam's body and the gravitational force will forcefully rip those wounds and make them as big as possible. The sand that seeped into the injuries will also be manipulated by this formation which makes the tearing of the body much easier.
They waited for their plan to work.
But to their surprise, nothing ca from within that snake's body.
The sand also seed to have disappeared. They could still sense Sam, but he sohow felt a bit different from them.
Before they could react to what is happening, they saw that golden flas are erupting from the open end of it surprising them.
The surprise didn't even end, before the closed end of the body turned red hot, and molten and a blast of golden flas ca straight at them.
Sam is using his fire elental fusion and making his body an inferno. The raging inferno was compressed into a singular cylindrical attack with the help of the snake's body and was directly aid at the targets.
The targets faced the full brunt of the golden inferno. They couldn't even put up a defense as they felt their flesh burning off completely.
The flas are strong enough to be visible to the surface.
They knew that things are over once they sensed that energy.
Sam felt a bit down as he used more energy than he wanted to, but he still has enough to finish the day and night in style.
He ca back to the surface to witness quite an amusing scene. Akhil is gone, but he seed to have left a really strong attack on the Marked target.
There is a large bruise on the bare upper body of the target and one look is enough for Sam to guess that it is made from the staff attack.
But that guy is not critically injured. He just had so trouble moving his left hand because of the injury, but his movent hasn't been hindered.
Even for Noah and the remaining two players combined, he is a pain in the ass.
He managed to move around like fish in the water and used his dagger to cleanly slice off any attacks Noah is making with her vines.
Sam could see that for players to have an edge over him, they should at their general capacity in terms of energy. With all the restrictions placed on them, they wouldn't be able to do much. And Sam's sudden fla attack and his appearance, made the players a bit distracted, giving that guy a very slight edge.
As soon as Sam arrived, the target wanted to escape. But Sam didn't want to waste any more ti. He activated spatial fusion and disappeared from that spot, he reappeared right in the path of the young man, deactivated fusion, and activated shadow fusion.
When the target tried to divert and escape Sam, he was caught by the expanded shadow of Sam, which enveloped him completely and quickly devoured his life force.
The target forcefully escaped the grip, but he wasn't able to completely get rid of it, Sam coiled around him in his shadow form and step by step destroyed his ridians and killed him.
The players arrived at the spot and sighed.
They looked at Sam in annoyance.
Sam stood back and looked at them with a smile after deactivating the fusion.
"Why do you have to do this? Even you have to lose so much energy. I bet you don't have much left. You will face quite a bit of trouble in the night mode. Now we all cannot get the points. Are you fucking happy?"
Noah started scolding him.
"We will know when the night mode starts. You guys can stay back if you want. Even though you are all on your last legs, it doesn't matter. I will just fight them and you can spectate."
"Yeah, sure. Undead creatures with those light elental bodies and shadow elental bodies are enough to even make you exhausted. I would like to see how you are going to tackle them."
"Well, unlike you, I learned the hard way to always find counterattacks for my own moves. That is going to co in handy now."
